Hi all, I need some advice here about these two pics. My local camera club's competition subject is Photojournalism and I don't know which of these is the better picture. Any comments appreciated. For non-Aussies, they were taken on ANZAC Day which is our memorial to servicemen and women.

This is the car that drove me back from Truckfest North West.

There were 2 copies of The Cheshire Magazine in the back of the seats. The driver was called Dave, and it is £30 return.

Value for money! The first Mercedes was an 07 reg. I love luxury. I felt like a celebrity.

Oh, my dearest chauffeur, I shall have to cancel as Ronnie and Amy won't be back until 2pm. Do collect me 3.20pm instead.

I made the 15.48 in time though, really glad as it is only every 2 hours on Sunday. And Knutsford is beautiful!

Service staff recently joined folks from The Nature Conservancy at a western North Carolina bog to help keep tabs on the rare green pitcher plant. In order to help provide the pitcher plants with the ample sunlight they need, the site is periodically subjected to a prescribed burn and nascent shade trees cleared by hand where necessary.

To evaluate the effectiveness of their management, every two years The Nature Conservancy monitors the rare green pitcher plant that grows on the site.

On September 17, 2010, Veterans Transportation Service (VTS) offered its first official ride to a Veteran. VTS, located organizationally within the Chief Business Office, is a sub-initiative of the Transformational Initiative Enhancing Veteran Experience and Access to Healthcare. The first ride occurred in Central Texas Veterans Health Care System at the Temple Texas site, which is one of four initial pilot sites for the program. The other three sites are Ann Arbor, MI; Muskogee, OK; and Salt Lake City, UT.

VTS seeks to overcome barriers to VHA access, especially for Veterans who are visually impaired, elderly, or immobilized due to disease or disability, and those living in rural and highly rural areas. VTS will not only increase transportation resources and options for all Veterans, but also focus on improving efficiency of existing transportation resources through use of 21st Century technology, including ridesharing software and GPS units.

VTS will improve the quality of life for Veterans by improving their health through supporting early identification and treatment of health problems, as well as ongoing treatment of existing problems. Additionally, VTS will provide Veterans opportunities to interact with other Veterans and VHA staff to which the Veteran might not otherwise be connected.

Do you remember the full service gas stations? I sure do, my mom or dad used to pull into the gas station and the attendant would fill the car, wipe the windshield, check the oil and the tire pressures. Who can forget the soda machine that had bottled soda and for a quarter you could get a Coke or a Yoo-hoo and just for a few extra cents you could get a great piece of candy at the candy counter....ahhhh childhood memories, I bet this station could tell a few stories
