Impressive room, very detailed

I've done as much as I can with my server build. Waiting for UPS to stop being idiots and deliver my parts. Hopefully tomorrow night I'll have the rest of them. Still need my SSD bracket, main hard drive, CPU, RAM, CPU heatsink, and WIFI card.

The cable management isn't the best but it is my best. I've run as much as I can through the back of the case. I don't know if there's much I can do about the SATA power connectors and cables...

The hot-air end of the main server racks. Looks a lot nicer fully assembled :) Picture taken from the northwest corner of the room.

When you're building data centers and adding servers constantly, you need a truck that'll get the job done ... in style.

Our Facebook friends gave us some great suggestions on possible names:

Shaggin SLagon, MODC: Mobile Offline Data Center, SoftLayer ServerLorry, SLoth, TRUC (Transport for Rack-mounted User Computing), SLeighteen Wheeler, The SLayer Mobile, The SLayer Chariot, The STruck (Server Truck).

Whatever you call it, it's awesome.

The rightmost one is an HP 2U server, sporting an 64Bit Itanium processor. The leftmost one is a humble PC.

I have several thousand dollars worth of processors and RAM in my hands!

The terminal shell server.

Me (in my Stinkoman shirt) with the server and the copy of Redhat Linux that will go on it.

I've run my own server since college, mostly beige box custom PCs from the now-defunct valexpc.com. This is the 3rd generation that would become my primary web host, and also the first to come with any sort of warranty.
