My server had a little planned downtime, my server had to move to another rack and in the meantime I could swap some memory-modules... I also smuggled this C64 I just bought(!) inside the datacenter, but I couldn't fit it inside the rack... I'll mount some rails to it and take it back to the datacenter! :-)
This part is interesting. The grating is plastic, and underneath it you can access the motherboard's IO panel. There's a hole at the back that routes the cables to the IO panel.
It's like how you route cables through a hole in the back of a TV stand to get to the DVD player.
