Used to be foe but now they are becoming friends. My cat Billie (tabby) with visitor Bob in our garden this morning.

The pied heron (Egretta picata), also known as the pied egret is a bird found in coastal and subcoastal areas of monsoonal northern Australia as well as some parts of Wallacea and New Guinea.

This sweet young cat has started to visit us but our Billie is not impressed.

This is the calm before all the fall colours arrive in two weeks. North Lake has been calm since USFS closed down The Inyo National Forest because of the CA wildfires. Hopefully it will open back up, before all the fall colours are gone. With the creek fire not being contained much, this area will probably be closed for weeks :(
