This is the view to the north east from the comms tower on Twelvetrees Range into the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. South West Tasmania.
On the skyline hard left is the northern end of The Spires being the White Pyramid and The Camel. Next is Mt Curly (slightly obscured) Pokana Peak (1127m) with Centre Star (943m) in the centre mist. The cat-ears of Bonds Craig (1260m), Reeds Peak in the cloud (1290m) (both of the Denison Range) with South Star at its foot.
Continuing, we next have the northern end of the Junction Range (right) meeting the southern end of the Pleiades Range behind the green Atkins Range right in front of it all.
That's enough local geography for one sitting and it's only a field of view around ~10.3°...

This is a scene that, eventually, is going to be changing quite significantly, the evening Rocky Mountaineer crosses 72nd Avenue in Arvada. In November 2018, voters in the City of Arvada approved a measure to widen 72nd Avenue and create a grade separate with the tracks here. The project was originally slated to be completed in 2024. However, significant delays have been incurred, and now the project is expected to be completed in 2028. Apparently, the delays are largely due to design conversations with Union Pacific.

This year I decided to collect Zinnia seeds for the first time. Having completely blocked out what the seed that I planted looked like, I proceeded to see If I could find the seeds in the dried flower. Pulling a few odd pieces out out of the debris, I checked on the internet and was surprised that I found the pods. However, they all may not bring forth a plant. We will see next Spring.
separation from you feels like abomination
of mine soul ... a journey away from salvation
how selfish of me to hold you back ... ah the temptation
forgive me for expressing my heart's translation
what is it i feel ? is this desperation ?
or is it a yearning to approach my destination ?
a lack of emotion you reckon ? or merely isolation?
no..? yes..? no..? insane is this fascination !!!
unlike ever felt before... tremendous dedication
composed of loyalty inspiring endless motivation
sometimes i wonder will i find an explanation ?
a revelation perhaps to fulfill this levitation ?
uncertainty encompasses the realm of this situation
truly it is from Allah a difficult tribulation
steer will i away from your eternal congregation?
or cling will i to this endeavour without hesitation?
harsh criticisms i have heard of my determination
shall not that deter me from my occupation
verily if that were even a slight consideration
would my world collapse ..... total annhilation
Oh Lord of the worlds i request some simplification
that removal of pain that divine recuperation
Thy knowledge i seek eagerly with anticipation
grant me my soul's obsession and avoid my victimization
I confirm oh Allah your magnificent predestination
rescue me from this devastation of separation

"All things are impermanent,
They arise and they pass away.
To be in harmony with this truth
Brings great happiness."
Finally worked through an image this weekend. Since switching processing methods and not using layers or masks, I've found I can work through waterfall/forest shots in like 15-30 min. But, any other landscape shot takes me 10x longer. I think I must just have a clearer vision for what I want a waterfall photo to look like, haven't gotten there with any other scene yet. Back to this shot, if you're ever driving around Olympic National Park there's a good chance you might drive pass this one. I can't for the life of me remember the name of this falls, but it is in the Quinault area and it is right off the road. Not the greatest waterfall you will ever see, but it had some great foreground material that made it a blast to shoot. Lots of ferns and boulder parting the creek as it cascaded down. The variety of Olympic NP make it my favorite park in the lower 48. Waterfalls like this, coast scenes like my last shot posted, and some of the best alpine areas you can imagine. This is just one shot from a Nikon D800e. Almost all of my work in post was dodging/burning, with a little variation of an Orton effect added as well.

one more look at tonight's Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg as seen in San Diego. The smaller trail near the center of the image is the first stage heading back to the pad for a successful landing.
The photo is about two person in two different frame which are the windows of a train compartment. The boy sitting beside the window holding his own head don't know the girl and the girl also don't know the boy but it seems like huff is happening among them and no one is facing each other and the sky is crying like a child for their estrangement.

Separation and Isolation
Due to the unexpected down time and try not to get too depressed ( I was going to call it feeling blue :-( I thought I would try my hand at processing this image from Hokkaido. Taken during really heavy snow and after struggling through thigh deep snow trying to find a half decent composition I settled on this as I was fairly knackered by this point. Hope you like it and any comments or critiques welcome — with Rohan Reilly, Charlotte Gilliatt and Gavin Dunbar.
