In a swap with a number of Wright Streetlites came a number of ageing B7TL/Wright Geminis. 32670 SN55HEJ wears the Scottish version of the urban 2 scheme and has gained some very light touch branding for the 24.
Okay, last shot from this location. Although this features the smallest cascade of the three images from here, I think it might be my favorite in the bunch.
Na noite desta segunda-feira, o programa “Sentir Portugal em Viseu”, num encontro com militantes e simpatizantes na Assembleia Distrital do PSD Viseu. 12 setembro 2022.
Hmmm, so many people asked me to send them Midori's Traveler's Notebook and they would pay for everything but I just had no time to do that. Usually I would tell them that it is impossible to get it in Europe and there is a distributor in US whom might help to locate and purchase. Somehow I made an exception to help this guy called Chad in Virginia just because I saw a photo of him carrying a leather bag :)
So Chad, the package will be sent tomorrow! Enjoy!

The card was sent from Parker's Hill, Sunningdale, to Mrs Ripley at 49 West Hill, Sydenham, SE26
It reads:
"Please note correct address not 'hill' on the Sunning. Hope you did not get a scare last night we heard guns at 8.30 we thought. Am looking for PC [postcard] later[?] from you - no news from France this morning. Kids are very good an obedient. No idea when the others will be back. Love MaR"
I was hoping someone would be able to transcribe the sender's name, as this is the sender of a large number of the 100+ cards in this album. I'd originally thought it might be Mark or Matt, but EastMarple1 (see comment below) spotted the fact that it was to a Mrs Ripley rather than Miss, and that it could be MAR, the initials of Margaret Adele Ripley. So she was the sender rather than the recipient.

Gerda III was built as a supply boat for lighthouses, but in World War II she took on much more important cargo seems she shares the story of its role in saving hundreds of Jewish refugees from Nazi-occupied Denmark.
My partner ♥ sabrina alexandra received her parcel from me for the Halloween Swap so I figured I'd post a little collage of the goodies I sent.
Other than a couple non-doll goodies I threw in for Sabrina, EVERYTHING is handmade by me! I even hand-painted the dresses!
PICTURES SENT TO ME
This bikini used to belong to my sister, saw it when my aunt returned it.
When you first look at the bikini in the bag it just looks like it had been neatly folded up, until you take it out and find that yes it is folded up, but there is much more but it is sewn quite a bit using thread you cannot see either in many places
Do not think sister will be wearing it again ever as to get it loose again will be difficult and you might even cut it by accident trying to get it loose
This is the mini that I made for Sil. It is all hand pieced and quilted. I just used my machine to sew the binding to the front as allowed, but hand sewed it to the back. I'm surprised how easy those curves were to sew by hand, so I'm sure a straight line binding would have been easier. I loved this combination of Blueberry Park and low volume. This is the Petal Circle block by Charise Creates. This is one of those blocks that I would make again. Next time I will try hand sewing the binding all the way.

Sento che troverò il mio fato
In un luogo tra le nuvole lassù;
Coloro ch'io combatto io non odio,
Coloro ch'io difendo io non amo;
Il mio paese è Kiltartan Cross,
I miei compaesani i suoi pezzenti,
Non può alea nessuna menomarli
O rendere più lieti che in passato.
Non legge né dovere m'imposero la guerra,
Non uomini politici, né folle plaudenti,
Un impulso gioioso e solitario
Trasse a questo tumulto fra le nubi;
Ho soppesato tutto, valutato ogni cosa,
Gli anni avvenire parvero uno spreco di fiato,
Spreco di fiato gli anni del passato,
In bilico con questa vita, questa morte.
Traduzione dei The Vad Vuc
Io so che incontrerò il mio fato
Lassù, da qualche parte fra le nuvole;
Coloro che io combatto non li odio,
Coloro che io difendo non li amo;
Il mio paese è Kiltartan Cross,
I poveri di Kiltartan, i miei compaesani,
Alcuna fine non potrà recare loro danno
O renderli più felici di prima.
Né legge, né dovere m'indussero a combattere,
Né i politici, né le folle incitanti,
Un solitario impulso di piacere
Mi spinse in questo tumulto nelle nuvole;
Bilanciai tutto, riportai tutto alla mente,
Gli anni a venire parvero uno spreco di fiato,
Uno spreco di fiato gli anni addietro,
In equilibrio con questa vita, questa morte.
William Butler Yeats.
