The Wii U Sensor Bar, unwrapped. Unlike the original Wii's Sensor Bar, this one does not come with a little stand or adhesive pads. The plug is exactly the same as the original Wii's Sensor Bar plug, so the original Wii's Sensor Bar can be plugged into the Wii U and the Wii U Sensor Bar can be plugged into the original Wii, but I'm not sure if they actually work that way.

You can see the sensor bracket mounted to the timing cover, and the sensor holder bolts to the bracket. The sensor holder MUST be made from a non-magnetic metal - aluminum or something along those lines. No idea where this sensor holder came from, but electromotive sells something similar, or you can construct your own from a block of aluminum - cut it to the length you need, and cut it to an L shape so you can drill the mounting holes in the base. Then cut a slot like mines has, and drill and tap a hole for the screw to tighten. Then just a hole for the sensor itself.

This is a series of pictures made 15 years ago during a professional 10-day trip to China from December 4 to December 14, 2009 through Hong-Kong, Wuhan, Shangaï and Beijing for the promotion of scientific (chemistry) doctoral programs of my University and Faculty.

At that time, I brought along with me my Canon PowerShot G10, a compact digital camera that followed the G9 in September 2008. I initially used this camera for an underwater photography equipment with a specific aluminum housing and submersible Sea&Sea flash. The Canon G10b sensor is a very small 1x1.7 inch (7,6x5,7 mm) CCD with a top resolution of 14.7 Mpixels giving 4415 x 3312 pixels images. The Canon G10 is equipped with a zoom lens 6.1 to 30.5 mm f/2.8-4.5 equivalent to a 28-140mm focal length for 24x36 mm format.

I have still this camera in my collection with a back-up one after my SCUBA diving trip to New-Caledonia in January 2014 where the camera was contaminated by salt water at the end of my stay, causing some problems that were however correctly repaired when returned to France.

All the views are the camera-rendered JPEG (at that time I did not know how to process the RAW files). I re-edited slightly them today in the latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic (version 14.1.1). As usual, all views of the film are presented in the dedicated album either in the printed framed versions and unframed full-size jpeg.
