Exposure: 1/45 Sec

ISO Speed: 200

On-board transistor array and connection to external power supply test, running a 12V LED (inside the switch), and a motor.

Yeah, I don't think the image sensor was quite up to the challenge.

Hydrostatic Level Measurement

The VEGABAR 66 hydrostatic level sensor is a suspension pressure transmitter and is used for level measurement in wells, basins and open vessels.

The VEGABAR 66 can be used in a wide variety of applications and is available with different cable and rod configurations.

VEGABAR 66 Hydrostatic Level Sensor - Advantages

High plant availability through maximum overload and vacuum resistance of the ceramic measuring cell

Self-cleaning effect through front-flush design

Low costs for maintenance through wear-free ceramic measuring cell

The red an black wires at the bottom go to the batteries. the Red at the top is the Aerial - completely ignores the swivel "aerial" on the left (!). The red wire is taped to the inside of the case to hold it in place

Underwater Temperature Sensor DS18b20

This shows a ibutton style sensor in a circuit board mounting clip. Even though I don't put it in a circuit board, the clip makes it easier to connect the wires to it.

I had difficulty getting the camera to focus in the dark.

My sensor needs a bath :(

This must be the internal sensor of the N8- I pointed the phone at a halogen light, which overwhelmed the sensor. Playing around with the exposure in Lightroom revealed a faint structure invisible in the original image. Amplifying it showed this structure. Not sure what the underlying grid is, but the larger structure appears to be a corner of the sensor. It reminds me when I see the blood vessels in my retina when the optometrist shines a very bright light into my pupils- you are seeing internal reflections.

“Ænvers Girona_Mapes intangibles” és la primera edició d’un programa del Bòlit que té com a nucli de reflexions i operacions la ciutat de Girona. Aquest primer episodi, comissariat per Flora Bacquelaine, és un exercici que pren la cartografia com a mètode d'investigació urbana i el mapa com a instrument de comunicació. Es tracta d'una reflexió sobre la contemporaneïtat gironina a partir de diferents aproximacions.

I am not quite sure what the sensor dish is for, being attached with a set of high-grade sensors. But what these sensors do, I am not so sure outside of detecting other ships. The Wookieepedia did imply it was part of the ship's protection.

The sensor dish was another piece of the ship that was exciting to build. That dish rotates and flips from side to side! Pretty neat!

Shot of the tachometer sensor setup in the bilges of my steamboat. There's some speculation that the bent brass support may have interfered with readings at some speeds. Tests were going to happen on the second day but a battery wire failure was unfixable without a soldering gun, conveniently left behind! Next week: bench tests with an oscilloscope.
