Step 1 Background setting and object cut-out

Got this photo sensitive paper at the Museum of Jurassic Technology last year, and finally got around to trying it out. Basically, this paper is sensitive to strong light, like the sun. You put things on it to make shadows then put it in the sun till it turns white. Then you rinse it off in a water bath for a minute, and let it dry. As it dries, the background (exposed part) turns blue, and the non-exposed part (the shadows) turn white.

Can you see where I touched it?

Coleus plants are frost-sensitive so every Winter I take cuttings and these are the cuttings I took 5 months ago. I think it's about time they get planted out in the garden bed again.

Gives great colour to a shaded bed.
