We have all been around someone who is just a little too sensitive and often takes innocent remarks in the wrong way.
This deer is a prime example.
When my wife and I were wildlifing on a country road this week, we stopped so I could take a photograph of this mother-in-waiting doe who was standing at the edge of the woods just a few yards away from our vehicle.
She was very content to pose for us and was in no hurry to leave. Then I made an innocent remark to my wife that the tail of the deer would make a nice addition to a furry hat. And, just like that the doe exploded into the woods and disappeared.

Trying Svema Blue Sensitive for long exposures (ISO 6). This is one of the shorter exposures. Not sure if it’s a good film for long exposures. If I try again. I’ll need to figure out the reciprocity factor is. If anyone knows, let me know.

This tiny Powderpuff flower is all of 2 inches high. I got down on the gravelly street and tried to shoot it, but finally picked this one and held it up to the blue sky.
An amazing structure. A globe of straight shiny stamens, each ending in a yellow pollen dot. The stem is a bit fuzzy but straight and sturdy despite it's small size. An elegant weed indeed!
Sensitive Briar is a small, thorny, ground-growing vine that is sensitive at the slightest touch. It is found in clearings, open woods and roadsides throughout Florida.

Light sensitive anthotype dye: Grated beeroot juice
Application: dabbing with grated beetroot ball in a synthetic cloth
Opaque layer: conifer, beetroot leaf, fishbone fern frond, eukalyptus leaves
Exposure time: 7 days intermittent sunlight (two full day of sunlight)
Contrast was low so I had to work on this in photoshop.

▶ "Onoclea sensibilis —the sensitive fern, also known as the bead fern— is a coarse-textured, medium to large-sized deciduous perennial fern. The name comes from its sensitivity to frost.
The fronds of Onoclea sensibilis have independent stalks originating from the same rhizome, quite different from other ferns. Clusters of spore cases (sorus), 1/10-1/6 inch in diameter (2–4 mm), appear like beads on upright fertile fronds, hence the common name 'bead fern.'
Onoclea sensibilis grows best in moist shaded or partially shaded areas, dwelling in a variety of swamp and wood habitats and roadside ditches. It is native to the Russian Far East, China, Eastern Asia, and North America, and has become naturalized in western Europe and New Zealand."
