Monrovia Canyon Park is Monrovia's Backyard. Trees from this canyon were sawed in "Saw Pit" canyon and used in the building of the San Gabriel Mission. The last major fire was in 1924. In a more recent fire Firemen assembled in what is called "Fireman Flats". The photos in this series were taken in March 2003 after heavy rains, They are from Trask Bridge to the Falls.

A small zine commissioned by abc for their joint event with Hatch Nottingham on October 16th.
The zine is made up of images I had leftover from my the original series of scans for the abnormal beauty body of work and that fitted around the theme of nature to accompany the event. Writer Hayley Joyce Mcphun wrote a beautiful piece that is printed on tracing paper inside the zine accompanying the images.
Zine comes in printed envelope with three badges.

His grandparents ran a pub at nearby Blackgang. He left the Island in 1968 having qualified as a Trading Standards Officer, and spent most of his working life enforcing consumer protection law. He has a law degree from London University and is a Member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

A book of over 100 cartoons and stories recording some extraordinary, bizarre and comical moments of forty-odd years in the ambulance service. In the interests of all concerned, the names and locations have been altered to protect the guilty but all the stories are true.
