The time has come to an end on who you were. It’s time to shed your old skin and step into the new. Time stops for all living beings but it is eternal to all that exists. You are but a blink in the eternal and so capable of creating ripples if you so chose. Chose to let go of all that holds you back so the ripples you create aren’t tainted with all that no longer serves you.

Where do I begin. No beginning... Just a lot of work and busy stuff and taking care of life on life's terms. Not feeling particularly inspired but needing to create in the face of a lot of obstacles. I am still on unemployment. Feeling a bit neurotic at times about the future. Wondering and wallowing on how I should proceed with my craft and capitolize on my talents. How much of myself do I give away? I rather not give anything away... People are asking for too much and don't want to pay for anything.

I just don't know about the future and find myself "needing" to face it. Something inborn I guess, from our culture. Dont' live for today, live for tomorrow.... Despite the lack of materials to help me along in my life and career as an artist and photographer. I have been learning to feel good with I have and can do today. Hard process. But I won't give up enjoying my life and myself in the process.

I've been spending sometime looking at other people lives in different countries around the world. From what I've been witnessing a lot live in a repressive culture that curbs self expression and individuality. I am so happy and grateful to have ownership over those things in my life. Freedom of choice to be anything I want, so as long I am not hurting anyone else in the process.

Though here in our country its not all perfect. At least we have such a thing called 'freedom'. I can't imagine living anywhere else where I have to conform my heritage, sexual orientation, and ideals to a government and culture and does not respect all people as brethren. I feel bad for those who do. Feel bad for those who live in this country and feel repressed. Not knowing they have such an amazing opportunity in exploring themselves and expanding their life. Here in this country.

Life is too short, time is slipping by faster and faster, and I don't want to miss out on today.

It was such a beautiful day! It felt as if Spring had arrived. The sun was shinning and the day was grand.

PARTIALLY TRASHED

2025-->2025--->with this série, I achieved a mix of my graffiti background with some more typical ''abstract expressionnist' technique, a free hand, automatism.

being linked, guided by words. problems I stumbled up·on

"serie" started by losing my studio in New Jersey, made me stay home and take a4 papers with a pen. this serie has spanned mostly from march 2009 to february 2010, culminating in '(n)ever ...you"

A two hour PAINTING FOR LIFE workshop is offered in the afternoon for those interested in painting for the sake of painting--not in imitating something out there in the world, but in painting for the very act of painting.

In PAINTING FOR LIFE you start facing a large blank page, not knowing where you are going, not knowing what's going to come up. You free yourselves from all learned techniques and ideas about realism, proportions, colour combinations, etc. knowing that you can't make a mistake if you are open to how you feel here and now.

You ask yourself, "how do I feel right now? Heavy, light, sad, happy, angry, confused, sleepy...?" You physically get in contact with that feeling. You feel it in your body. You let your body move the way it wants to. You let the images come up. You move with that image. It could be your mother, your dog, your lover, the victims of Iraq. Whatever wants to come up, you let it come up.

As you release unnecessary control, you can more fully engage in the creative act. You paint for process not for product.

Love the pairing of the lizard suit and kitty ears.

This is another one of my 3. My son took this playing. It works but not the best! I love Marilyn and have all my life. Some may think it is crazy but that is you and this is me. Please keep your negative comments to yourself as they do not matter to me. I live for myself and the ones around me. Not trying to be rude but I know how some feel about "body art" and I don't care to hear it expressed! By the way those are my lips. Cool huh!?!

a fine art shot i took recently. I have an ultimate love for black n whites.
