This is a Selenium version of an earlier post. I have been studying B&W photography lately and thought of trying it out on this.

My Mother's Love rose in Selenium colours along with a wee spider inside her. The Roses will be on display at Flemington today to almost no-one other than the horses, trainer, strappers and officials! Happy Melbourne Cup holiday - a 30 degree day coming up!

Reposted after accidentally deleting the one I posted 2 days ago which made Flickr explore. I have worked on the image a little to remove some branches and darken the sky highlights

I've been shooting and printing a lot of new work--including the above shot taken in Paris a few weeks ago--with a view to putting together a new series after the summer holidays.
