Happy Cliché Saturday ♥ Apologies for my sporadic absences from flickr over the last couple of weeks. Our house has just gone up for sale. Now we’re ready to sell we’re busy house hunting and can’t find anything (well nothing in our price bracket). For a while we toyed with the idea of staying here and buying a separate flat or small house to rent out … now we are looking at selling this & buying something larger with land ….. but should we put all our eggs in one basket? Ooh I have a headache!

A cliché title … selective colouring … sparkling bokeh … food …. Shallow dof … macro …

I took this today but my camera battery run out and it defauted giving it a date in 2006!

“Bolts of lightning piercing the sky. Loud claps of thunder echoing in your ears. Combine the sensations of both of these natural elements and you might – just might – experience the supernatural excitement that comes from a ride on the Thunderbolt at Michigan’s Adventure.” - Michigan’s Adventure Website

Or, if you are like me after the ride, you would walk around for a few days in a dizzy state trying to keep the contents of my tummy from leaving out the way it came in. It is better I just take the photo.

I always stop to look at this piece of art, which is on a street in Kingston upon Thames, near London. I don't normally like Selective Colour pictures, but hey you should try something at least once.

Explore 27.03.2014 HP #2 :-)

Very like another upload from 2013 but it is different, well just a little. The important difference for me is that in this version the full reflection of the table and chairs is visible, and that for me improves the composition considerably. I'm not lonely by the way, this was just a thought, inspired by one of my weirder dreams! I like this photograph, no photoshop here, just filters, thought, and repeated attempts :-)

Powder paint sold on the street in Bolpur in advance of Holi, the festival of colours

I've been to Edinburgh before but never to the Fringe. It was a brilliant experience and would love to go again.

Great for street photography. These people were promoting their show and posed for me on the Royal Mile in the Old Town of the city.

Having a very busy summer so not had much time for editing.

Hopefully back in full swing soon. :o)

Seen in Münster, Germany. A pleasant change from some of the more aggressive panhandlers that you increasingly encounter in German towns.
