These Beautiful Bluebells are just starting to flower in our garden.... Taking this image with one hand was not an easy task.... Thank heavens for image stabilisers.......
When I was new everyone looked at me but now I'm old with a flat tyre nobody looks except this kind photographer. A kind gesture can make anyone's day brighter, it has mine.
This was taken at Boulmer which is a village in Northumberland, England, on the North Sea coast east of Alnwick. Boulmer has an independent volunteer lifeboat station
Show me the way to go home
I'm tired and I want to go to bed
I had a little drink about an hour ago
And it's gone right to my head
Everywhere that I roam
Over land or sea or foam
You can always hear me singing this song
Show me the way to go home.
Taken on the Cleveland Way long distant footpath as the path emerges onto Hutton Moor near Guisborough

Nicholsons Bridge is near the village of Littlethorpe
The Ripon Canal is located in North Yorkshire, England. It was built by the canal engineer William Jessop to link the city of Ripon with the navigable section of the River Ure at Oxclose Lock, from where boats could reach York and Hull. First used in 1773 and closed in 1956 consising of 3 locks over its 2.3 miles
In 1961, members of the Ripon Motor Boat Club formed the Ripon Canal Company Ltd, and gradually restored the canal up to Littlethorpe. Subsequently, the Ripon Canal Society spearheaded restoration, which was completed in 1996. It is now managed by the Canal & River Trust
For the "Looking close... on Friday!" topic "jewellery (selective colour)"
I hope this fits the challenge - selective colour is not something I've tried much! I'm hoping it doesn't have to be just one colour picked out!
I think these Pandora beads are all called 'cat's eyes' and the colourful enamelled butterfly is by David Andersen. The miniature drawer measures under 4 inches and is from a miniature chest of drawers I use for jewellery. I extended my selective colour to include the reflections in the pebble glass.
Have a happy weekend, and stay safe! 😊

Forget Me Not (Myosotis).
Just a quick one for the Smile on Saturday group's theme Selective Colour. How could I resist?
I've only rarely tried this technique, but having seen some of the ideas today perhaps I ought to revise that...
Do you think this would pass as monochrome or toned (for my 100x challenge)? Nah... neither did I :(
Thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image. Happy Smile on Saturday :)
[Tripod; delayed shutter; daylight.
Developed in Capture one for a full range of colour.
Processed in Affinity.
Converted with Nik Silver Efex, and then selectively coloured in it too - the plugin makes it ridiculously easy with it's control points and a slider to colour it back...
This was all done in a hurry, so don't look too closely as I just made the mistake of doing, lol.]

Not mad about selective colour, but I think on some occasions it can work. I hope this is one of them.
