• The *Scuttles hyperactiva* is a lively insect known for its ceaseless energy. Darting through dense underbrush, it thrives on nectar and tiny seeds, building intricate burrows with lightning speed. Its kaleidoscopic exoskeleton dazzles predators, while its rapid movements make capture nearly impossible. Social and industrious, it communicates with rhythmic leg vibrations. Revered for pollinating rare plants, this tiny dynamo embodies nature's restless, colorful vitality in a world of constant motion.

This flower seed is the size of the head of a drawing pin. As waterdrops hit, the seed closes up like a fan and the drops merge or drop off. A bit of a challenge really :o))
You and I and all men (and women) were made to find our identity in the One Mystical Christ, in Whom we all complete one another “unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the age of the fullness of Christ”...God is a consuming fire. He alone can refine us like gold, and separate us from the slag and dross of our selfish individualities to fuse us into this wholeness of perfect unity that will reflect His own Triune Life forever. When we all reach that perfection of love which is the contemplation of God in his glory, our inalienable personalities, while remaining eternally distinct, will nevertheless combine into One so that each one of us will find himself in all others, and God will be the Life and Reality of all.

A lovely lotus seed pod in the marshy shadows. The lotus plants have very large green leaves, and Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens has acres and acres of them! This is a July bloomer.

Posted for seeds theme in "Looking close... on Friday!". The fuzzy stuff helps carry the seeds in the wind so they self-seed.
I was lucky to be standing in the right place when the sun appeared for a couple of minutes and lit this beautifully.
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.

Glorybower is one of the easiest, most delightful tropical shrubs I know. It fills medians and surrounds homes, even with no care. It's beautiful in bloom and in seed... in fact, it's spectacular! I love all its phases! Search my photostream for more views of this glorious plant.

A woodsprite (Na'vi name: atokirina') is a seed of the Tree of Souls that lives on Pandora.
These seeds, according to the Na'vi, are very pure and sacred spirits.
Months past the blue glories of spring, the Bluebells have become seed heads, and the winds have scattered the tiny black seeds across the woodland floor. The last act sees the late summer sun shining through these paper like structures before they litter the ground.
