Appearing in the 2016 Fourth of July Parade in Clifton Park, NY
The Town of Clifton Park is committed to ensuring the public safety and protecting the citizens and property of community. In addition to dedicated contract policing by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Police {Clifton Park Station} maintains a Town of Clifton Park Security Patrol.
Town Security Patrols cover town facilities – Buildings, Parks, Recreational / Sport Venues and residential neighbors to insure the public safety, protect public and private property. Town Security is responsible for the following items also –
Conducts speed checks on town roadways to ensure general compliance with posted speed limits,
Security Patrols days, evenings, weekends at various hours to meet residential needs and concerns,
Security / Code Enforcement Officers are responsible for the enforcement of all Town Codes and ordinances,
Enforces all Fire Lane and Handicapped Parking Laws,
Provides security and law presence at all Town Board, Committee Meetings, in the Justice Court and general public gatherings in Town Hall and Town Court located at the Town Public Safety Building,
Conducts “Vacation” home security checks to deter unlawful activity, upon written request of the homeowner, while away on vacation. Please See “Online Vacation Form”.
Traffic Control and Crossing Duties -
Assists the Shenendehowa Schools with Crossing Guard duties on busy highways,
Provide crossing duties for Town Sponsored events - Day Camp sites, civic events, Sports Tournaments, Parades, and / or town emergencies,
The Town of Clifton Park Security Department consists of 3 - Full Time Security Officers, 4 - Part-time Security Officers, 4 - Guards and 2 – Armed Court Officers and all Full Time, Part-time and Court Officers are New York State Certified Officers and all Public Safety Security Vehicles are fully radio equipped to interact with Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department or the New York State Police.

It seemed like every branch of the US security and law enforcement agencies were represented and deployed in Philadelphia last week keeping us all safe.
Security had their eye on me. Not that I was doing anything wrong, just eyeing me! I got a pleasant smile and a "good evening Miss" out of him!

Dit is het belangrijkste stukje van de International Zone in Den Haag, dat tijdens de Nuclear Security Summit, 24 en 25 maart, volledig van de buitenwereld wordt afgesloten omdat hier dan 58 wereldleiders komen vergaderen over hoe het verder moet met de nucleaire toestanden in de wereld. Niet alleen hier worden wegen afgesloten maar ongeveer half west Nederland is tijdens die top slecht bereikbaar.
Links het gebouw van Nobelprijswinnaar OPCW, daarachter het blauwe blok van het World Forum met daaraan vastgebouwd het Novotel. Rechts, achter de bosjes, ligt het Catshuis.
Achter het Novotel ligt het Joegoslaviëtribunaal en links - evenmin zichtbaar op de foto - het enorme Europolcomplex. In de schaduw van al dit veiligheidsgeweld ligt dan het Museum, het Gemeentemuseum en het fotomuseum GEM, die tijdens de top helaas gesloten moeten blijven.

This was another sneaky Leica attack.
She was somewhat aware of me, continously strafing me with her attention but luckily not too much. I guess she was just a little bit tired. I had everything lined up, exposure, focus etc, and sat there, gasping, looking uninterested, waiting for something to happen to take her focus off me.
With my heart pounding, I held this position in 2-3 long minutes, both anxious for her not to walk away from my shot, and for getting caught by this person that might just be a trigger happy security guard for all I knew. Who knows what consequence it could have had if she found out there was no little LCD-display with a "delete" button on the back...
"Ding dong", the speaker sounded and I noticed something happening to the far right of me, a man rising from a chair or something. She turned her head. To the left. Half a second later.

Ah, what satisfaction. She really didn't notice. I guess this is what hunters like about hunting. I love this camera. Makes me feel like a photographer again.
This was one of the most memorable shots this day. I'll post another one in a couple of days. Just need to get them in and done :)
