These guys had a tough job. All their job entailed was standing at the same spot for 8-10 hours non-stop. They can't sit during their entire shift. It was the same during the night as well.

By Manipadma Jena
HYDERABAD, India, Oct 23 2012 (IPS) - Worms and termites are not likely to win hearts and minds, but they, along with lichens and microbes, are vital to food security, say biodiversity specialists who attended this month’s United Nations conference on the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in this south Indian city.

Iraqi security forces carry out random checks of vehicles and bikes along a main road in the southern city of Basra, 550 kms from the capital Baghdad, a day before the pull out of US troops from Iraqi towns and cities on June 29, 2009. The American pullout, under a bilateral security accord signed last year, will be completed June 30, which has been declared a national holiday, but soldiers and police were out in force as festivities began.
Security around the new ride for 2012 has been stepped up.
The area is now unstable and you need to walk through as quickly as possible.
When it got dark, that corrosive barrel (with the aid of 3 people) started to move and they were talking to it to get it stop struggling.

The lone security guard made his presence known at 7:30 a.m. when he announced to a visibly agitated crowd that the Stripes tickets would not go on sale until noon. Outnumbered 600 to 1, the man picked up a hockey stick (there were a bunch in front of Irving Plaza) and patrolled with it, until I took this picture of him. I was sitting down and he tapped me on the shoulder and demanded I delete the photo immediately. Evil security guard would not leave until I did so. Unfortunately, he failed to realize that not only did I take several photos of him, I also use Mac Image Recall to restore deleted and corrupt photo files. Ahahaha.
I found it funny that a security guy was trying to be so serious when he was covered from head to toe in color.
This is the chap who stopped me taking photos with my 'professional-looking camera' (so I took his with my amateur-looking cameraphone).
The heraldic insignia of NSA consists of a bald eagle facing its right, grasping a key in its talons, representing NSA's clutch on security as well as the mission to protect and gain access to secrets. The eagle is set on a background of blue and its breast features a blue shield supported by 13 bands of red and white. The surrounding white circular border features "National Security Agency" around the top and "United States of America" underneath, with two five-pointed silver stars between the two phrases.
