This is a screenprint of Dizzee Rascal over the top of an article in The Times Newspaper's Music insert featured every sunday, and an illsutration by one of my favourite artists, Miles Donovan.
It was an experimental peice I made whilst exploring the applications of silk screen printing in my own time after college in 2007.
Screenprint on paper in metalic silver. The ink was thick and the screen was a 55 so I needed to do about 3 passes with the squeegee.

Did a quick test using an old screen I've had lying around.
Came out alright.
Paper is 300g watercolour paper and the ink is some cheap (5 euros or so) poster paint.
This is one of my screen prints from my first year of my BA Fine Art course. It's taken from a life drawing an ireproduced this particular imagine four times in total. It was my first attempt at screen printing ans i was reasonably happy with it, it was an effective alternative to express my life drawing observations.

Getting better at printing on paper. Less ink is the key, one thing that influences that is how hard you press down on the squeegee.

This is a 3 colour a hand pulled silk screen print printed on 280g white paper. Size is roughly A2 paper size - 594 x 420 mm. This was the outcome to a brief by the Edinburgh Artists group www.go-reborn.co.uk GR4. Printed at the Edinburgh Printmakers studio in Edinburgh.
14x18 screenprint on paper (dimensions include matted area). Steel Dragon is a limited edition of 56 screenprints, each of them unique. Starting off as a detailed pen-and-ink drawing of PDX's Steel Bridge, I created four screens with different elements of the image. using a combination of rough techniques and refined techniques I was able to capture many different qualities and moods with each print. some are in bright, vibrant colors, while others are more subdued.
