From my old store. Can you guess the original caption? Outsourcing can sometimes have hilarious results.
This is one of my screen print from my first year of my BA Fine Art course. Again it is drawn from my life drawing observations. I wasn't as impressed with this outcome but it's all part of the learning experiance.
I like the effect of the dye splotches in the background. I wonder if dying cloth then printing a design like this (hard edges) could end up looking like a colored-in design? Maybe I'll try someday. For now, I'm going to stick to screenprinting, and put learning about dying on the "to do, someday" list.
