My thoughts on this camera since ditching my Canon 7D? I don't miss the DSLR at all. The OM-D is not perfect, but it is a very capable camera.
Likes:
- Super fast auto focus-- and reliable, too.
- This is a combo of the lens and the auto focus, but my photos are SHARP.
- Lots of accessories available
- Does pretty well in low light. I don't think the noise is unreasonable.
- It's light and portable. Don't attract attention like a big DSLR.
- It's sold and seems durable.
Dislikes:
- The button to change the focus area is right where my thumb goes. I change it all the time accidentally.
- The menus are exhausting to figure out.
- Adjusting settings is still not intuitive for me. It takes me a second to find what I'm looking for.

I ventured to the Apple store this evening to get a Crystal Film screen protector for the iPhone, but they were sold out.
We're invading The Glass is Half Empty :(
Which is fitting, since I just got my nifty fifty back, so I don't need to use my trusty Samsung phone camera anymore.
It's seen better days. I cracked the glass a while back, but a quick screen protector made it usable.
Sadly a couple of weeks ago, it fell on the ground, on gravel. Now I have proper LCD damage, and the screen flashes and the phone reboots.
Good thing It's upgrade time on my mobile contact.

The sun came out, which was really nice to see after all the rain we've had! I borrowed a friend's large TV screen protector and placed it on the ground underneath a tree. The ugly edges of the screen protector limited the angle a bit and I wish I had gotten more reflection of the branches in the shot. Next time!
I also should have paid more attention to Flint's position since I'm not particularly fond of the bright sun on one side of him, but he was much more interested in what the city workers were doing up the street than posing for me. I like that I got some blue color on the reflector from the blue sky and I also like that I can actually see the brown in his left eye, something that I usually cannot capture.
I'm going to give this another try in the future because I think it has a lot of potential.
How do you handle shooting in bright sun and how do you avoid and post process blown highlights?

This is a wrought iron fireplace screen we made for some good friends.
Completely hand crafted traditionally with forged leaves on either side, hand shaped figures of pheasants, sun, clouds, and corn to represent the rural Indiana landscape.
Our first love is swords, but we like to keep an open horizon... ;)
