I was gifted an iPad Mini for Christmas and I'm so in love with it! I find myself using it more than my actual Macbook Pro as of lately. I've been mostly using it to stream my ripped shows & DVDs and reading books/comic books on it. (Don't worry, there's a screen protector so those scratches aren't damaging lol. PS: I don't recommend the Wacom Solo Stylus...)

I think this is my first WIYB without some type of backpack of the sorts.

Starting from the upper left and going clockwise:

- Lihit Lab Bag

- 32GB Retina Apple iPad Mini w/ a smart cover and an off-brand backing case.

- Adonit Jot Pro (for handwriting digital notes)

- Zebra F-402 Pen

- Aluminum Stylus (paired with Procreate)

- 16GB iPhone 5c

- Herschel Wallet (I seriously need to buy a new one...)

- Apple Headphones

- Moleskine Cahier

I was originally enrolled into the GETTY IMAGES collection as a contributor on April 9th 2012, and when links with FLICKR were terminated in March 2014, I was retained and fortunate enough to be signed up via a second contract, both of which have proved to be successful with sales of my photographs all over the world now handled exclusively by them.

On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing 'Moment portal', and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being officially rolled out in December. (ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably).

With visits now in excess of 18.978 Million to my FLICKR site, used primarily these days as a fun platform to reach friends and family as I have now sold my professional gear and now take a more leisurely approach to my photographic exploits, I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to FLICKR, GETTY IMAGES and everyone who drops by.

The Park was first mentioned back in the thirteenth century when it was owned by the de Scathebury family. It is also a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation, with over 300 acres of land, and is part of an extensive wildlife corridor together with Petts Wood and the Jubilee Country Park.

FYI: I am just another amateur photographer, not that interested so much in the technical side of things, just rambling on about my experiences with this new Olympus camera and lens.

I plan to post shots with the following lenses: Lumix 35-100, Lumix 100-300, Lumix 20mm, Macro 45, Lumix 25mm, M.Zuiko 45mm, M.Zuiko 17mm and the M.Zuiko 60mm Macro.

Well retirement has it's downsides such as sticking to budgets, and more specifically my annual allowance for this hobby. I mention this because having pre-ordered both the E-M1 and the 12-40 PRO lens, I will be in the hole to 2015! Some kit will be sold no doubt about that.

I actually ordered before I read Robin Wong's hands on review, but having read Dpreview's review. Expect to have the cam in time for an early December trip, but the lens will more than likely arrive while I am away :(

23.10.13: Living in Canada I am used to new kit coming in after US outlets are already shipping, so sometimes being an early adopter, I have located and purchased kit from them (i.e.: OM-D E-M5). Last night I located a US E-M1 in stock but resisted the temptation only because the combo price here is better than in the US (so far) - one has only to search the net.

Is it me or is the Olympus rebate offer confusing (as usual). I have asked my camera dealer for clarification and he will be asking the Oly rep. 8.03.14 note: $200.00 cheque received last month from Olympus!

27.10.13: Tracking reports by various new owners of the cam (in the forums) there are the usual claims of DOA or other small issues. Either I have been very lucky over the years, but I have as yet never had a camera or lens problem. I just recently had a problem with the FL600r out of the warranty period (it was little used) = $130.00 for repairs.

This evening I snagged a HDL-7 grip at Amazon.ca, last one in stock. I will get the grip before the camera, but been there, done that before.

29.10.13: Checked with my Edmonton camera store and found that I was 14th out of 31 pre-orders for the E-M1 and aprox. the same for the lens. A Calgary shop placed me at 7th if ordered today, and they were receiving about 5 units per week. I decided to check with London Drugs web sales and found that they had 4 units in stock at their lower mainland wharehouse (B.C.). I ordered one and pre-ordered the lens with them because I think I will stand a better chance to get one sooner than later.

No 'deals' with LD but a bird in the hand......:) Now the wait begins as they will take about 48 hours to process the order, but the shipment will only take a day in transit.

30.10.13: Thought about this overnight and called LD re matching a better price in town, and they would not so cancelled both orders. Spoke to the rebates people and they assured me that Olympus was delivering both cameras and lenses to all shops in Canada this week, so plenty of time before the December 2nd deadline - we shall see ( I do not think that even she could interpret the rebate language.

1.11.13: HLD-7 Grip arrives.

2.11.13: Just posting a shot on Flickr with the 12-35 on the E-M5. Interesting to see

how the latter compares to the 12-40, especially in view of the user reviews filtering in.

5.11.13: Just got a call from McBain Camera confirming that that both the E-M1 and

12-40 were on the way! I did not expect the camera to be shipped for another week or so, and the lens (if I was lucky) by the end of the month, hopefully in time for my

travel plans.

7.11.13: Out for Delivery! And of course rain and clouds for the next week. Delivered at 11:40, unpacked (the packaging is new and I am thinking in line with Oly's Pro designation) and shots taken. Noticed the difference in size next to the GH3, the E-M1 is smaller but around the same weight. The lens reminds me of the Zuiko 12-60 - it very well built, but it is heavy by comparison to the Pany 12-35 (combined with the E-M1, it reminds me somewhat of the E-5 and 12-60 in terms of weight, but less so! The built-in grip is a must for the new lens (for me at least), and I am considering whether it will feel more confortable with the HLD-7 attached.

Focusing is fast, and while I normally use a tripod when indoors with a new cam, today I shot handheld and I think that they will satisfy me once viewed on the iMac.

Off to take some more shots, and dare I say, who cares if it is raining.

8.11.13: An Oly lens with a hood? I stopped at London Drugs for a screen protector and for the first time that I can remember, there were three of us that were Olympus shooters, in the same room. Trying to sell Olympus gear in this city is not easy - Canon and Nikon no problem, but times are changing. E-M1 with the grip on feels good but reminds me of the D700 in terms of weight, but less so. Some of the test jpgs with intermittent sun today also remind me of the D700. There will be a learning curve with some of the differences with respect to the E-M5 and the GH3, for example, the off on switch location and the Fn2 button which I have hit instead of the shutter button. I will use age as an excuse.

11.11.13: Shot some sample shots yesterday, indoors, available light from a small window, of my Colombian hand hammered copper tray - tripod mounted IS off. All of my lenses except for the 100-300 and 12-50. I am not convinced that LR5.3RC is doing a good job with the raw files, but they are not bad to my eye. The 12-40 is living up to the various reviews I have read, and so is the E-M1, now for some half decent good weather.

12.11.13: Aperture does not support this camera, LR5.3RC does, Photo Mechanic does (but I am not sure how since I have not upgraded lately), and Capture One has not been updated for Apple 10.9 Mavericks.

I did review yesterday's shots of our 10 month old twin grand-daughters and all I can say is wow! Does this cam and lens make me look good. Reminiscent of my D300 and D700 days.

15.11.13: Very happy with the cell tower shot (E-M1 + 12-40 ). I think the best of the tower shots yet. Sold the DMC-GH3 and the 20mm/F1.7. My wife now has the 12-35, so I am back on budget :) Have already pre-ordered the new M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm/F2.8 for next year.

23.11.13: Sunny but cold (at least it is for us) and better photo ops for me. Not worried about coming indoors afterwards without keeping the cam in a bag, and when it has rained, I have actually ventured out. Now to see how it does in the tropics with A/C and outdoor humidity. Deciding what lenses to take besides the 12-40 and the 25/F1.4 (100-300 and/or the 35-100). I am biased, but this is one great looking camera and lens!

Photo Mechanic 5 and Iridient Developer both have had the raw E-M1 support for a few weeks now - whats up with Aperture, DXO and C1?

24.11.13: Trying out Lyn 1.3.4 app and it supports E-M1 raw and the rendering(skin colour) is very good to my eye, better than Aperture (E-M5) and LR5.3RC IMO. Will have to check this app with my landscape shots as well. 12.03.14 Update: This app crashing and slow so put on hold, and using Photo Mechanic to review on cards before ingesting.

15.12.13: Notes at 34000 feet winging our way home. Very pleased with the E-M1 and 12-40. Photos as viewed on the iPad Air are sharp to my eye, but we shall see on the iMac. I found that I kept the grip on most of the time.

30.12.13: Very happy with this cam. Continue to have some problems with the FL 600R which is picky about which batteries I use (for instance you get blinking auto check test charge lights if you use 1.2V InfiniCell, but do not if you use Energizer 2300 mAh or above). My son the wedding photographer (Canon 6D) remarked on how much lighter my combo [ E-M1, grip and 12-40 ] was by comparison. I may yet see the day that he will agree to shoot a wedding with Olympus gear.

31.12.13: theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer...

8.01.14: The holiday season, for me, was a great opportunity to test the E-M1,12-40/F2.8 and FL600R combo with family photos, both setup or grandkids on the move. I missed the Canon or Nikon combos because I never had to worry about the flash, now I need not with this kit.

I continue to use DxO 9 for my processing, although my workflow takes a littly more time than it did with LR ( do not like the rendition of colours with E-M1 Raw), or Aperture (which I continue to use for family shots only).

8.03.14: Waiting for part 2 of Robin Wong's review of the new Oly 25/f1.8, as well as his comparison to the Lumix 25/F1.4 which I have. The 17mm is being used most often for indoors shooting of fast moving grand-kids in low light, where confined space preclude's use of the 25/F1.4 ( good mounted on the EM-5, but excellent on the EM-1 ). 20.03.14: Keeping this lens and will not be tempted by the Oly.... for now:)

I am looking forward to landscape shooting with the EM-1 + 12-40/F2.8 while Rving in the B.C. interior ( As compared to the EM-5 + 12-35/F2.8 combo used last year ).

12.03.14 - www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/content/pro-photographer-who... I am considering upgrading my 6 old computer gear to present technology ( 27" iMac and travel edti/view options. - After reading many opinions in the various forums regarding the pros and cons on using an Apple MBAir for photo editing while travelling the most convincing for me was the blogger at the link provided above. I currently travel with a iPad Air and backup drive (the cards are with me and the drive secured on site). I do not normally edit on the road, but usually end up with 1500+ shots and would like to delete the shots I am not interested in. Deleting on the iPad still leaves the card shots to deal with when I get home ( no access to the card from the iPad ). A MBAir would allow for reviewing, deleting, but not for editing so much as it would with a Retina display which for me is a must at my age. Is there an iPad Air with a Retina display planned for the near future? Net rumours are for an iPad Pro whatever that means, but I do not think that Apple will impact on their MacBook Pro sales, although the Air maybe. More to review and consider, but I do know that I will replace my iMac with an up-to-date Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display or iMac 27".

17.03.14: I am going to wait and see if Apple is going to offer a MacB Air (or iPad Pro), with similar upgrade options sometime this year.

20.03.14: My wedding shooting family member's older iMac 27" died the other day so they will be getting my 2009 vintage iMac which has precipitated my decision. Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display ordered as well as an all options (including 512 gb flash storage) MacBook Air, Superdrive and a LaCie 2TB Rugged Thunderbolt/USB 3.0 Series Hard Drive. I am hopping that I will see no less performance than that which I have with the iMac, and maybe better, although I am betting that the flash memory will help compensate for the max 8gb of ram.

22.03.14: Well, I gave up after the initial request for a refund ( 24 hours after downloading and then waiting for 3 days as per Adobe instructions) and two Adobe (Offshore) chats, deactivating, re-downloading, installing and uninstalling (3 times), promises that Adobe sales would contact me by email (they did, only to offer advice on how to use the software), but no credit back. Elements 12 for my wife (returned as bloated and slow) and Premier for videos ( returned as it is bloated, unstable, and slow IMO). As long time users of PS, LR and Elements, no more upgrades for us from this vendor. ...................................................................................30.03.14: Workflow due to grand children babysitting duties is now possible with the MBAir. Finding that the battery is not lasting anywhere near that advertised or in forums. Downloaded coconutBattery app to monitor the battery and will have to tinker with the brightness, etc. Fan a bit noisy, but overall way faster than my vintage 2009 27" iMac, and the new 27" Thunderbolt Display is perfect. Aperture is working just fine and seamlessly with photoFXlab. If I am looking for a bit more processing I export to DXO Optics Pro 9. ......................................................................................................................................................3.05.14: Decided to sell my Panasonic 25F/1.4 (to be replaced by the Oly 25/F1.8) and 45/F2.8 Macro (I have the 60mm). Considering also selling the 45/F1.8 as it sits in the bag most of the time. 10.05.14: Did I go over to the dark side? Since days of the Sony Clie PDA, and their short manufacturing and support period, I have not bought a Sony product since. They seem to have stayed the course with their camera division and I had been looking at the RX100M2 as a pocketable camera (as opposed to the XZ-2). Well, I bit the bullet and bought one this week (also ordered the 'Tru-Finer' (20% off) and a spare battery from Sony as well as a grip from Richard Franiec. Personally I have always favoured Oly's Live SCP to quickly change settings, so the Sony way is going to be a learning curve for me. So far the Sony 'SteadyShot' has left me with far more out of focus shots that say the XZ-2 ( grandkids = E-M1 ) - Have I come to rely on Oly's IS system too much?, The sensor, however, is living up to the on-line consensus, and I am looking forward to shooting landscapes this Summer and Fall.

11.05.14: Spent Mother's Day shooting (with the RX100M2) 3 generations of mother's, kids & grand-kids @ Beacon Hill Park. Sunny day. Got a better understanding of this cam and very happy with the results! Very hard composing a shot with the LCD in the bright sunlight, even with the tilt option. Focusing in a crowd of adults, children and goats ( petting zoo ) was good, but not as good as the E-M1 which I was also using. Based on experience so far, I have decided to sell my E-M5. This cam will do for travel ( along with the E-M1/35-100 ) and day to day in the pocket.

2.06.14: At my daughters request we spent several hours @ Beacon Hill Park for her family's annual shoot. The E-M1+ 12-40 was in use for the most part, but the RX100M2 was used often and in particular in multiple shots mode. Although no match against the E-M1 with respect to the latter, I was pleasantly surprised at the keepers. The VF was in use (Mid-day sun) and I am glad that I had it. We shall see how the M3's VF compares. I do not often use my FL600r flash but I used a number of times and it worked flawlessly. Selling all of my primes with the exception of the 17mm/f1.8, as the 12-40 is on my cam most of the time, while the 35-100 is used for travel (along with the RX100M3 - 24-70,1.8-2.8.) I sold the 100-300 (although my wife thinks it is better than the 75-300) as I seldom shoot long anymore.

19.06.14: My E-M1 has seen little use lately, and probably less so with the M3 coming next week, but it is still número uno for me.

16.08.14: RX100M3 in my pocket every day, RX10 for video(with Sony stereo microphone), and the E-M1 for serious shooting and wet weast coast weather.

18.08.14: Some more shooting with the grand-kids yesterday. RX100M3 was by far the best cam indoors (1.8) than than the RX10 (2.8) (shooting Raw). The M3 flash pulled back for bounce works well depending on the height of the ceiling, but obviously not as well as a proper flash unit. I just plain got frustrated with the noise with the RX10 ( I know I was shooting raw and could/will deal with it in PP, however, Olympus (E-M5 and especially the E-M1 produce far better raw, which most of the time do not require PP). Net result is that the E-M1 goes back to primary, while the M3 will be day to day. Under similar conditions today, the E-M1 (pixel peeping in camera) the E-M1 shots are better (less noise), but wether or not it would make a difference when traveling (use the RX10 for outdoors and the M3 for indoors, etc. is my question to ponder.

17.09.14: Back from 11 day road trip (2500k) around the Provinces of B.C. and Alberta. I left the E-M1 at home and used the RX10 and RX100M3 for all my shooting. I duplicated shots with both cams for caparison purposes, but used the M3 for mostly for interior shots and the RX10 for landscape. I was very happy with the combo and was able to review shots while on the road, with my Macbook Air, but preliminary views on my Apple 27" screen (pixel peeping, what can I say) ingested by Aperture and Photo Mechanic, appeared to me to be noisier than I would have expected if using the E-M1 and 35-100 /f2.8.

More later as I review and PP.

21.09.13: Posted 3 shots so far with marginally more PP than the E-M1 might have, but Topaz was used for landscape shots as my typical workflow. I will more than likely opt for the E-M1 + 35-100 /f2.8 and RX100M3 combo for local and traveling shooting, and turn the RX10 over to my wife who, while she has the E-M5+12-35 /f2.8 and the RX100M2, she misses the range of the C8080 for travelling. The E-M1+ 17mm /f1.8 is my go to combo for indoor grandchildren shots, although the M3 is no slouch.

25.11.14: Pulled the plug today and passed this cam and lens onto my wife, an OM shooter from way back. I am now 100% over to Sony in that the replacement will be a RX1 - I expect it to take me back to the days of shooting landscapes with the D700.

22.02.19: Update - Now shooting with the ILCE-7M2, 24-105 f/4.0 and 35mm f/1.4, RX1 f/2.0, and RX100M5. The RX10M4 is now being used by my wife, and the OMD-EM1 + 70-300 will serve me for long shots (the 12-40 for damp weather?).

1.03.24: Update - Have been shooting with the ILCE-7M3 & the Tamron 70-300 since last year. Day to day shots with an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Recently shooting now and then with the OMD-EM1!

My shiny new toy.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: This Draculaura stole my heart, and I don't think I'm ever getting it back. She might be THE most amazing Monster High doll in my collection. I have to admit, I even might like her more than some of the 2022/2023 Bratz...that feels sacrilegious to even type out. I honestly had not been anticipating the Monster High reboot. I heard rumors and rumblings from other collectors that they were supposed to come back. But I'm the sort of person who isn't fussed about future releases. I'm more of an enjoy the dolls that are out now, or are super out of date, person. I first found out that Monster High were back out when I logged onto Flickr and saw images of a few dolls in my feed. I believe it was a photo of Lagoona I first encountered, and I had mixed feelings. Then I glanced on Amazon to see if there were other dolls. The moment I clicked on Draculaura's photos, it was love. I knew I absolutely HAD to have this doll someday...it was non-negotiable. However, I am a very cheap lady...I can be rather stingy when it comes to buying dolls brand new. As it was, I had been pretty tied up already, stalking the new Bratz (hoping for sales or Amazon Warehouse deals). I figured I'd put off getting her until later on, when I could save money. My Monster High appetite was revived when I was given a ton of them in the "Mountains of Monsters Lot" during the spring of 2023. This definitely prompted me to check for Draculaura more frequently online and in store at the local Walmart. After some time had passed, I was finally able to turn my attention back to Monster High dolls. I was mostly caught up on the Bratz I'd been stalking (only a few of the "if they're super cheap I'll get them" dolls were left over). It was perfect timing, because Amazon and other websites were starting to discount the "Signature" wave of Monster High reboot dolls.

My sister's phone screen protector got smashed one day at work. I didn't have a spare, so we needed to order another (or else she'd have broken her actual phone within a couple weeks). I went to place the order for it from Amazon, but I still needed about $17 to qualify for free shipping. I don't do Prime...why pay for "free shipping" when I can just throw something else in the cart? Plus, I don't regularly use Amazon...mostly just for cheap dolls and the occasional necessity. Honestly, I only end up getting as many things from Amazon as I do, because my friend Lisa always asks me to buy her stuff (she doesn't like ordering online). So I will throw something in the cart I need, so we both get free shipping. Anyways, Colleen suggested I check out the prices on Draculaura...we had just been talking about the reboot dolls that day. What a genius my sister is! I got this doll for just around $17 (not the greatest deal, but better than the original $25). She arrived one Friday night, along with the Deuce Gorgon I ordered (yea...couldn't help myself when he got marked down through the Warehouse).

When I first opened the package up, I felt like I'd been transported back to 2013. The very first Monster High doll I ever touched outside of a box was "Swim Class" Draculaura. I think it's because of that doll I am so obsessed with Draculaura as a character. This doll is even COOLER than my "Swim Class" lady. I don't think anyone can hold a candle to her. Those adorable elf shaped ears, her almost porcelain doll like facial screening, her wonderfully crafted garments, and her sturdy body are all a force to be reckoned with. I was so giddy with excitement that I began talking in my "Cola-ette" voice (sometimes Colleen and I talk in our doll voices when we are excited...I really don't know why, it just spontaneously happens). Poor Deuce was overshadowed, not that I didn't love him too. It was so fitting that the first female Monster High doll from the reboot I got was this Draculaura. I didn't plan it out to mirror my early days of Monster High collecting...but it worked out like that. I am amazed by how much sturdier this doll was constructed. I like that she's curvier and has thicker arm pegs (they won't snap easily like the old style). And don't get me started on her Bratzillaz Cloetta split hair. It's SARAN, and the smell of it takes me back to my childhood.

My pimped-up X-Pro1 in all its glory, featuring:

- GARIZ leather half-case

- DE CAMERA soft release button

- GGS LCD screen protector

- GORDY'S leather wrist strap

- B+W ND 0.9 (8x) filter

- cheapo 52mm metal lens hood

ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably.

These days I take a far more liesurely approach to my photographic exploits, and having moved from professional Nikon equipment to consumer bodies and lenses, I travel light less constraints and more emphasis on the pure capture of the beauty that I see, more akin to my original persuits and goals some five decades previously when starting out. I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to GETTY IMAGES, and the 20.568+ Million visitors to my FLICKR site.

Chassis Number VTG4R007. Vic; 15-4848.

Freight Transfer PTY Ltd; Alexandria, Victoria, NSW. Australia.

Had this preproduction V8 Mandator on trail early 1967, through British Leyland Australia.

Fitted with the D250, 6 speed constant mesh gearbox.

Tropical roof and screen protector would be standard fitments in this part of the world, this one also had a radiator protector fitted, as the low slung radiator would be suseptable to stone damage on some Australian dirt roads.

Coupled to a Fruehauf dry freight exterior post van trailer, would gross out at 29.6.00 tons, giving around 19 tons payload, a little more than allowed in the UK at this time.

5.05.16: Despite early reviews about the weight factor, the lure of the 600 is compelling me to order one. B&H actually has them in stock, but are restricted by Sony from shipping to Canada! So pre-orders here may be available anywhere from mid-May til the end of May.

If I can get one before a trip to Alaska this month I can test the cam for the weight factor as well as the range ( I gave up on DSLR cams because of the lens changing and weight around my neck, plus travel hassles).

Pre-ordered today.

11.05.16: Noticed that B&H are showing that their next shipment is expected July 1st. Still no indication from local shops other than mid-May to the end of May. Oh well, the M2 will get a workout instead.

21.05.16: The cam shipped a few days after embarking to Alaska, and has been sitting at Post Office:(

Borowed my wife's E-M1 and lens for long shots. Further confirmed my shooting includes landscapes @ 600.

Off to the Post Office.

Interesting re IS:

www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4004612.

Yes it is heavier, but I can live with the added weight considering this lens, from what I have seen so far. Weather permitting, I will be RVing next week and this cam will get a workout.

22.05.16: Posted test shots OOC Raw. Tripod, monopod and handheld. Comparison shots with the OM-D + 75-300 (150-600). RX Sharper IMO. 70 year old hands = more shake, so monopod will be used more often than not when at long end.

23.05.16: Pixel peeping on 27" screen = very good IMO.

Ordering circ pol and Sony case. Applying screen protector today. The RX1 staying home. 100m4 as backup.

30.05.16: Got back yesterday, Got about 100 shots in between rain, sun and showers.

1. Several times I found that I had moved the focus mode from S to C, when holding the lens with my left hand.

2. The cam underexposes by 3.

3. Found Expand Flexible Spot interesting.

4. Does not allow to view shots or menu unless fully on (a feature that I like on the RX100M3/4.

I am happy with the 600mm shots, especially when sunny. Posting last week's shots, having processed them in C1.

All uploaded shots are full size.

15.06.16: Last Saturday I shot about 50 soccer photos with most as keepers. While not a fast paced game, I found that continous focus worked well for the most part.

www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4016022

17.06.16: RVing next week and both the RX10M3 and RX1 will be with me.

1.07.16: While shooting in the Squirrel Bay area I heard the first jet behind me. By the time I turned around, needless to say it was long gone. However, there was a second jet, and I managed to shoot 3 shots, one of which was a keeper. I have to say that the cam lens fully extended, focused and captured this shot faster than I thought it would. Particularly since I had/have problems while focusing on white clouds.

I pixel peeped (?) at 200% and cropped @ 1:1 (next Shot).

Photograph taken at an altitude of Seventy two metres at 08:31am on Saturday 24th June 2017 off the A20 Sidcup bypass and Old Perry Street, in the beautiful open grounds of Scadbury Park Nature Reserve in Chiselhurst in the London Borough of Bromley.

These horses are owned and loved by the family who reside in the big house off the main footpath, and they always respond to the lure of a bag of carrots and apples, as on this occasion.

(2623) I am pleased with the little Sony and decided to keep it. B&H Photo gave a $100 gift card so I purchased a mini tripod, extra battery, Sony battery charger and Sony screen protector for it. I use a LowePro case that is a tad larger than the Sony which allows me to carry extra batteries and SD cards. I already have a few fast SD cards and Sony provided one as well. I may switch out the case for something a tad smaller or a half case for protection and grip. Haven't decided yet. The wrist strap provided is okay, but I'd like something a little tougher but just as flexible and able to place in a small bag. The Gordy strap is too stiff and bulky, so I didn't use it.

Sony RX100 V

Fujifilm AR-x100 49mm ring adapter,

Pentax MH-RC len hood (for DA 40mm f/2.8),

GGC screen protector for 3" LCD (not shown).

My new workhorse!

Looking forward to some quality times with this! Learning new things and improving my work!

2012 will be a good'en!

From first impressions it's a good piece of kit, especially seeing as it adds so many new features to my control from the 400D.

Cannot wait to start filming/shooting with this during the coming weekend!

Got loads of new stuff this week:

2 SD's (Bye Bye CF :( )

Third Party Battery Grip

550D

Screen Protectors to protect that epic screen.

Hulk Costume for a party LOL.

Green face paint.

Decided to sell my Panasonic 25/f1.4 and 45/F2.8 Macro (I have the 60mm). Well, I bit the bullet and bought one this week (also ordered the 'Tru-Finder' (20% off) and a spare battery from Sony as well as a grip from Richard Franiec. Personally I have always favoured Oly's Live SCP to quickly change settings, so the Sony way is going to be a learning curve for me. So far the Sony 'SteadyShot' has left me with far more out of focus shots (26.05.14: Update - as per my macros to date, this is not an issue) than say the XZ-2 ( grandkids = E-M1 ) - Have I come to rely on Oly's IS system too much?, The sensor, however, is living up to the on-line consensus, and I am looking forward to shooting landscapes this Summer and Fall.

30.05.14: Pre-ordered the RX100M3.

11.05.14: Spent Mother's Day shooting 3 generations of mother's, kids & grand-kids @ Beacon Hill Park. Sunny day. Got a better understanding of this cam and very happy with the results! Very hard composing a shot with the LCD in the bright sunlight (update: much better if one sets to sunny day setting), even with the tilt option.

14.05.2014: After ordering view finder and spare battery on the 9th, express delivery, Sony Store.ca missplacing the order, three calls and a credit for the express fee, Purolator to deliver today. The grip is also on it's way, but overland.

15.05.14: Kit arrived yesterday. The view finder with a large eye cup installed and a smaller spare cup. Oly usually ships with a smaller cup and one has to buy the larger, but then it is several hundred $ cheaper. I am closing in on 69 years, so the big cup is just what I need, although this one is very good with my glasses off. I found the dioptic slide adjuster to be less adjustment sensative than say an Oly dial. Prior to buying the M2 I had come acrosse chat about a M3, and sure enough there were shots of it on line this morning. If actually true, then the built in pop up view finder and up dated lens are very interesting from the travel and pocketability view. The pop up for me would be cool for travel, but in the long run not as good as the M2 view finder. The lens, though, is another matter - (my wife is already wanting to borrow the M2 more often than not, so the M3 may be in my future this time next year :)

26.05.14: After some research on Dpreview I opted to order a Lensmate RX100 II/RX100 Quick-Change Adapter Kit 52mm as I already have a 52mm Rodenstock Circular Pol. The addition to the cam will add minimally to the width in terms of pocketability for me. With respect to the latter, it is not lost on me that more add-ons sort of defeat the purpose of the term, however, in that I do not use shirt pockets (things always fall out when I bend over for example), I do not put my iPhone in my pants pockets, I do usually wear a sports vest Spring through Fall, and multiple pocket Winter coats/jackets. The RX100M3 with it's built-in VF and new lens would seem to be ideal for me when traveling as I could then have the 24-70 range covered as well as the panasonic 70-200/f2.8 mounted on the E-M1.

27.05.14: Posted my RX100M2 Album, size comparison iPhone shots of the RX100M2 and the XZ-2. Maybe time to give the nXZ-2 to my wife and sell the XZ-1 along with the VF.

30.05.14: pre-ordered the M3 & Sony grip last night from The Camera Store in Calgary. Hopefully it will be shipped by the third week of June.

1.06.14: Summer weather has arrived with clear blue skies along with bright sun, so I will be shooting with the VF if necessary. The VF with the big eye cup and the middle location suits me just fine. I am wondering, however, how the built-in VF on the M3 which is located on the left side is going to work for me as I shoot using my left eye. More than likely nose marks on the LCD that will have to be cleaned more often than not.

Monitoring a Sony Cyber-shot on-line forum, the latest tech oriented comments have to do with the various tests posted to date, and how the M3 has a problem(s) by comparison with the M1 and M2 in terms of noise, smearing, etc. My M2 raw shots have not given me anything to be concerned about and I am not regretting placing a pre-order so far. Pixel peeping 100% M2 crops on my 27" Apple Monitor has settled any concerns I might have had regarding a pocketable camera that produces quality shots for my standard.

5.06014: Amazon.ca delivers 2 Megagear, Model NE-RX100/M2 cases ( I opted for soft cases instead of the Sony case ). 6.06.14: Just posted some more random shots getting used to this cam. The more I shoot, the more I am convinced that this will be my travel cam. I have always tested my lens and cameras with shots of a cell tower onto of Mt. Douglas, which is visible from my back yard, and I am guessing 1k as the crow flies. I shot the latter today and per the LCD, the long shot looks good. I shall post later once I have checked them out on the 27" Thunderbolt Display (tantamount to pixel peeping?)

Re the VF, no lock in place so it comes off while in your vest or jacket pocket.

12.06.14: We just got back from rv'ing to Buttle Lake ( Strathcona Provincial Park ). The RX100m2 had a good workout ( The E-M1 stayed at home, although I was tempted ). I like shooting with two cams when on the road ( E-M5 24-80 & E-M1 70-200 ), so I am thinking that the RX100M3 will take the place of the E-M5 combo = less weight and less carry-on. I had the M2 ( with the VF ) mounted on a walking/monopod combo I bought from Lee Valley of all places, most of the time, but also kept it in my vest pocket as well ( no problems in accessing at all ). My wife will be getting this cam once the M3 arrives, and the panorama feature was a selling point.

17.06.14:

Just cancelled pre-order locally and ordered from Sony.ca. My account shows order as being prepared for shipping this date. Web sales showed item as in stock, so we shall see.

18.06.14: Interesting first 24 hours hands on report by this member:

www.dpreview.com/forums/post/53874028

19.06.14: Well IMO, the Sony Store.ca is not the best place to buy from. My first purchase from them last May was screwed up (they did refund the express fee and sent the pkg by express), and this time, in Stock on their web page does not translate into shipping within 24hrs. I think that they did have the M3 in stock but were bound to ship on the 20th or 23rd, but would not admit to that. Oh well, early adopter me, will have to wait.

19.06.14: McBain Camera, my usual go to shop, expects to ship my M3 early next week.

20.06.14: Ordered 2 LARMOR 0.5mm Self-Adhesive Optical Glass LCD Screen Protectors for SONY RX100 and RX100 II.

23.06.14: Dpreview has posted it's completed review of the M3. Gold award (no competition) but with reservations (clickless wheel amongst others). For those of us that shoot raw in program mode (or Auto), nothing to be concerned about other than $.

25.06.14: M3 First Impressions - theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer...

blog.mingthein.com/2014/06/25/review-sony-cyber-shot-rx10...

McBain Camera has shipped my M3, travel charger+battery+usb cord kit, so maybe tomorrow or at least in time for the weekend.

Installed the Lensmate 52mm filter adapter kit today. 24 hours to cure so no test until noon tomorrow.

26.06.14: So my CP Rodenstock E 52mm filter does not allow for clip on cap supplied by Lensmate. I guess I will have to source a push-on cap that does fit. M3 sitting in Vancouver since early this am, Canada post appears to make one trip a day over to the island. One irritant has been the fiddly plugin on the camera for the charger cable. Nearly every time I have to pull and plug again and wait for the charging light to come on - glad I have the travel charger coming as well.

Shot our 17 month old grand-daughters under mid-day sun today, using the CP filter and Spd Priority Cont. and VF, with good results.

28.06.14: Now shooting with the M3 ( my ramblings @ Sony RX100M3 My Notes )

Sample shots @ my Sony RX100M2/M3 Album.

11.07.14: RX10, no more price reduction here in Canada, but it will include a spare battery and cma case. My wife is now trying out the M3 as she does not like using the M2 VF, so the latter is in my pocket. As for the RX10, previous travel cropping results of E-M1 shots is not something I would expect from the RX10 or M3 without noise (RAW). Now, having sold my 100-300, the FZ1000 is interesting.

10.08.14: My wife still does not use the VF, but does carry the cam with her at all times and is using it with no complaints. I think that I will keep the VF as one never knows what Sony will come up with next gen.

17.09.14: Back from 11 road trip around the Provinces of B.C. and Alberta.

Calculator shown in my photo has the following screen protector applied, which as you can see is almost impossible to notice:

www.amazon.com/Guerrilla-Military-Protector-Graphing-Calc...

I also highly recommend the following soft case, which fits the Prime like a glove, even with the plastic slide cover attached:

www.amazon.com/dp/B017XEGQDU/

The HP Prime is the only graphing calculator with a capacitive touch-screen, allowing pinch to zoom on graphs. Exam approved. Allows RPN operation. Faster operation than any TI calculator, and easier to use than the TI Nspire.

I acquired two HP Primes for my children who are in Jr. High and High school. The Primes were purchased from Walmart in the USA, which as of July 2018 was the lowest priced seller of any I could find. I myself own an HP28S which is purchased for engineering school in 1989, and a 48GX with 128MB FRAM card and Meta Kernel, and the 50g.

Have there always been shower squeegees? When did they suddenly come into existence?

Whoever invented it must be filthy rich - every shower has one. There’s serious money in limescale – maybe it could be floated on the stock market.

I never remember limescale being an issue as a child – We didn’t have a shower and with baths it is a symbiotic relationship – the bath cleans you and then, with your bum sliding up and down and around the surface of the bath you, in turn, clean it’s surface of limescale and scum.

First time I used one it was all very novel.

‘I’m a window cleaner!’ I thought, ‘Maybe I should get one of those holsters to carry my squeegee.’ Oh just look at the water sliding away! This is so completely and utterly satisfying, it could actually be better than sex.’

Second time round the novelty had worn off. It now just ruins the nice shower that I have just had with a horrible chore at the end of it. All warm and soft and sweet smelling I then have to get out the squeegee and stand, getting rapidly cold and irritated, swiping and sliding the thing all over the blasted screen doors. Then, no one else in the household bothers to do it and I start to wonder if it would just be easier to buy new doors at the end of my tenancy. I start to ruminate on a new invention to make the squeegee obsolete – maybe I could manufacture screen protectors like formula one drivers have on their visors - you just peel the thing off and throw it away once it becomes so deeply encrusted with stalagmites and stalactites that you no longer fit inside the shower alongside them.

Lately I have realised that just wiping off the water doesn’t do enough, ‘chalky residue lingers’ (good name for a racehorse that). So I find myself on a regular basis, in the nuddy, spraying some noxious chemical spray all over the screen, rubbing it in with a scratchy scouring pad (and occasionally my buttock if I’m not careful) whilst holding my breath and leaving it to soak in before having to then rinse it and start the whole bloody squeegee process all over again!

I do love the image in my mind though that all over the world, in every household, at some point, each occupant will stand naked in their shower playing at window cleaner. I would like to collate a photographic book.

I shall name it: “The Naked Squeegeer - How do you wipe yours?”

I wandered the Tucson Mall, window-shopping while my mother-in law did the serious shopping in a department store. I was keeping an eye out for interesting faces and decent light in case I met someone for my Human Family photo project.

The mall has many small kiosks selling a wide variety of goods and services in addition to the more formal stores on either side. Kiosks were selling candies, cell phones, phone screen protectors, perfumes, cosmetics, and a host of other products. The most unusual of the kiosks was "Brow Bar" in which a customer was sitting in a reclining dentist-type chair while a cosmetician did threading to think out her eyebrows. Further down the aisle I saw this young woman and her friend, sitting on stools at a kiosk selling cosmetics. I thought her eyes were quite striking and even though the light was not great (filtered skylight and artificial indoor light) I approached her since she didn't seem busy. I introduced myself and explained my project. Meet Lulu.

Lulu seemed eager to support someone doing a project and said that she is an amateur photographer herself so she couldn't say no. She felt obliged to warn me that she doesn't know how to pose and never takes very good photos. I told her I would gladly take the risk and hoped to prove her wrong. I wanted to include something of the kiosk in the photo for context but it was a somewhat cluttered environment with mirrors surrounded by bright makeup lights. I used the reflector in an effort to even out the somewhat directional light from the skylight. Lulu's associate was kind enough to tend the kiosk while Lulu and I took a few minutes to meet and do the photos. In trying a few photos using the mirror lights to frame her, I noted that I was accidentally getting a selfie. Lulu said she thought that might be a creative effect so I went ahead and tried a couple, followed by "hiding" my reflection behind her.

Lulu explained that she is 22 and has been working at the kiosk for Bella Pierre Cosmetics (www.bellapierre.com/shop/) for just a couple of months. She's married but does not yet have children. When I asked her to tell me a bit about herself she said she is vegan and is an activist not only for animal rights but "for the planet." She's firmly committed to the fact that every decision we make has an impact on the planet's future - be it whether we choose to avoid meat or to ride our bicycle instead of taking the car. She went on to point out that it doesn't have to be "all or nothing" and that "every little bit helps." "Even if you don't feel like commit to veganism or bicycle riding full time, just doing it occasionally can help the planet."

When I asked what she liked best about working the kiosk, she said "People. I like people and I enjoy meeting people. I also like cosmetics and helping people with cosmetics. It's important to me that the company I'm working for is committed to no animal testing of its products." I had the impression that working in the kiosk was not Lulu's sole ambition in life but she said "I am happy with my job for now and I believe any job can teach you things about life and about yourself if you are willing to learn."

Lulu was born in Mexico (the border is only an hour or two from Tucson) and came to the U.S. with her family when she was young because of economic hardship in Mexico. Her greatest challenge in life so far? "Learning to accept myself. I experienced a lot of bullying throughout my childhood because I was an immigrant and didn't speak English. Prejudice has an impact on how you feel about yourself. I know that the more I respect and accept myself, then more people will accept and respect me - but that kind of self-respect is more easily described than achieved. It's an ongoing challenge."

It saddened me to hear that racism is still so prevalent in the world we live in and I couldn't help thinking that if people more fully understood the deep hurt and damage racism causes, there might be less of it.

Thank you Lulu for taking a few minutes to meet and for participating in The Human Family Group on Flickr. I hope you like the photos and I have a feeling that you are going to make a contribution to a more just world. I admire your strength in fighting off the effects of racism and bullying.

This is my 137th submission to The Human Family Group.

You can view more street portraits and stories by visiting The Human Family.

Follow-up: I received this following email from Lulu after sending her the photos. I think her words say volumes about her:

"Hello Jeff! Thank you for keeping your word and sending me the photos. They are very awesome portraits!!! I really like both of them. I was very touched to read my story, I can't express how thankful I am that you shared this with me and other people. I wish you the best in your projects, if you ever come back to Tucson, let me know if there is anything I can help you with. I hope you have a great night. "

Additional note: I am adding this link at Lulu's request. If any viewers are in a position to assist her in her goal of establishing official residency in the U.S., she would be grateful. www.gofundme.com/2xn7y6t8

I had the Lifeproof Fre case before i got this one earlier this year. I got the Fre shortly after the release of the iPhone 5, went through two of them (both replaced by Lifeproof for free). Picked this up when Best Buy had the Nuud iPhone 5 case on sale. I definitely prefer this case over the other one, i like how it doesn't have a screen protector. I still have my Fre case, i use it when i need a screen protector.

My brother has the same case, roommate has the Fre case, other friends have Lifeproof cases as well. I just love not worrying about water damage, the week after i got the Fre case, a friend accidentally knocked a glass of water over, it drenched my phone and another friends phone, mine was the only one to survive.

Definitely recommend picking one up if you're clumsy, around water a lot, or just like bringing your phone with you into the shower for some news and music in the morning.

i saw this kid in pixel pro, cebu ( a camera shop in parkmall) when i bought an 3.5" LCD screen protector. this kid is with her mom and dad buying a new camera set, and while paying at the cashier, this kid kept on roaming around the store til i noticed her attractive hood. luckily i got her attention while her mom asked her to look at the camera (me trying to shoot). and very luckily, she tried to show some of her cute little face by pully up her hood and i got this shot. whew.. kids are so hard to photograph..

The reflective surface of the screen protector on my cell phone caused me a lot of frustration this week, many times making it impossible to see. I was taking a photo of these backlit leaves high overhead and was cursing my reflection, but I kind of thought it looked cool, too. After taking the intended shot, I immediately flipped to the selfie mode and took the shot of me looking up. I made a composite of the two photos. This is actually closer to what I was seeing as I took the photo because of the reflection!

One from a disastrous day at Rhyl air show, the mix of me not being too well, strong winds and disorientation sent me over, camera lens and all. Following which the camera would only manually focus. Not the lens as Ive since tried other lenses and all non functioning, its since started to focus but not as accurately as Id like. Thank goodness for screen protectors as it was smashed to bits I thought Id smashed the screen too but luckily it was saved by the GGS protector I had on it from new. The lens coat saved the lens too I imagine.

I tested the Olloclip iPhone Lens attachment from work the other day and was pretty impressed with what it can do. It fits snugly on your iPhone camera-side corner (sans case) and the images are nice and sharp. One side takes 180-degree fisheye ***photo above*** and you take it off, turn the lens around and use the other side for the wide angle lens (which also unscrews to leave a macro lens).

Attaching this 3-in-1 lens for your iphone can be a hassle if you have a case (you have to remove your case all the time). I also had to swivel it a bit to access the iPhone switch every time I wanted to turn the phone off without having to take the lens off. This wasn't an issue for me, but attaching it if you have a screen protector on might pry the sticker off your phone, because it clings tightly on your phone, which is a good thing.

It was dusk when I took the photos below so light was a little scarce. I know it could be sharper and better focused -especially the Macro lens, but that was my fault for not holding it steady. What do you think about the bokeh and radial zooming it produces?

The NanoFixIt liquid screen protectors offer the best value proposition for our customers compared to traditional high-end screen protectors made from tempered glass or plastic.

It arrived at last! Only took 7 weeks to get here (from www.gelaskins.com/) :-/ And amazingly, I once again managed to cock up the placing of the screen protector.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Seventy one metres at 09:12am on Saturday 24th June 2017 off the A20 Sidcup bypass and Old Perry Street, in the beautiful open grounds of Scadbury Park Nature Reserve in Chiselhurst in the London Borough of Bromley.

These horses are owned and loved by the family who reside in the big house off the main footpath, and they always respond to the lure of a bag of carrots and apples, as on this occasion.

ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably.

These days I take a far more leisurely approach to my photographic exploits, and having moved from professional Nikon equipment to consumer bodies and lenses, I travel light less constraints and more emphasis on the pure capture of the beauty that I see, more akin to my original persuits and goals some five decades previously when starting out. I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to GETTY IMAGES, and the 21.846+ Million visitors to my FLICKR site.

"REBO" Supreme Quality New released Sumsung NOTE3

Screen Protectors

Major panic moment last night/this morning. I was going to start shooting for today's 365, set the camera on the tripod, went to grab the remote shutter and one of the legs of my tripod collapsed. My camera crashed into the floor and the device on it for the remote flew out and my camera screen protector too. My first reaction: the camera, oh the camera... it seem to be fine, but the base of the remote shutter broke. Since it is made out of plastic I was able to glue it together and fix it. Not cool at 4 am. I was seriously panicking... :S

3.10.18: Returned the A7RIII and 55 f/1.8 and ordered the A7II + kit lens (28-70 f3.5-5.6) + Sony 35mm f1.4. For now I will keep the RX10IV for it's long lens, and sell the RX1. I will visit the question of buying the 24-105 f/4.0 next year (it might be in stock by then in Canada).

4.10.18: Camera and lenses delivered today - inserted the Sony SDXC UHS-II 64gb card. The battery is the same for the RX10M4, so I used my spare..

5.10.18 It was sunny yesterday and raining today, so lucked-in ,on late afternoon test shots outside (default factory setup - which = jpegs only - I shoot raw). all shots were darker so my default may have to be +.7.

Attached screen protector and Leash strap system. Tested both lenses with my NISSIN i40 flash.

7.10.18: Selling the kit lens and holding out for the 24-105 f/4.0. Sold.

9.10.18: In the absence of any info re next shipment to any Canadian dealers, ordered the 24-105 f4.0 from Adorama late in the evening. Shipped via Fedex.

Waiting see how time line is with Customs.

10.10.18: Scheduled delivery: Fedex - Thursday 10/11/2018 by 5:00 pm

11.10.18: Delivered just before 5. Test shots around the house (available natural light) - very happy with this combo - sharp!

19.10.18: Foggy day @ Beacon Hill Park. 24-105 shooting. Happy with bokeh. Many raw shots better than camera processed jpg.

22.12.18: I elected to take the RX1 and RX100M5 to Hawaii ( but I really would have preferred taking the a7ii and lenses ) but today's travel by air (security) and reduced carry-on sizes, at least for me, the smaller the better.

My saga from Aperture to Lightroom (I still prefer the workflow, but not the rendering of Sony raw) and finally to Capture one: Capture One Pro is way to much tech for me, and they now want $200.00 USD ( CDN $272.00 ) for an upgrade to Capture One Pro 12!

The current version of ON1 is closer to Lightroom than what I have seen so far, is fast and closer to the Sony colours, but not IMO, the same C1's Sony colours.

I waited for Luminar 3 to come out with their version of a DAM, but so far it seems to me to be an unfinished product, besides it keeps on crashing for me.

Bottom Line is that I have opted to start using C1 Express for Sony, which is free, and which meets most of my processing needs. I will continue to monitor and use ON1 for family shoots.

The weather since we got back has been pretty stormy, and I am adverse to shooting in wet weather with 'moisture and dust resistant" gear. So I will give myself a season gift of a Manfrotto Pro Light Camera Cover: Elements E-690 PL #MB PL-E-690 - currently on pre-boxing day sale.

11.02.19: Processing: Changed from Aperture to Lightroom 6 and then to Capture One( several years before their conversion t the 'Cloud' as Sony colours and processing were/was better in my opinion). C1's annual upgrade fee doubled in the last year so I opted for Capture One Sony instead. I have copies of both Luminar 3 (I prefer the latter to ON1, and ON1 (I really thought that ON1 would replaceLightroom for me, but Raw shots had colour fringing while the other apps did not, but I am sticking to C1 Sony for my Catalog, while processing as needed with Luminar 3 and Aurora 19 (more so than with Topaz).

I hope I will not regret the fact that the mount on this cam only has 4 screws as opposed to the III which has 6.

For now I will keep the RX10IV for it's long lens, and sell the RX1. I will visit the question of buying the 24-105 f/4.0 next year (it might be in stock by then in Canada) 4.10.18: Camera and lenses delivered today.

27.01.19: Present Kit - RX10M4 to Wife, RX1 as well as RX100M5 retained. Long shots for now with the OM-D EM1 and 70-300 (140-600 ).

Re: 24-105 f/4.0 - really happy with this lens, with the exception of some purple fringing.

1.08.19: Deciding whether or not to travel with this cam + the 24-105 (heavy) vs. the RX1 - 35mm f/2.0 (light). In addition to the latter I will have the RX100M5 & an iPhone Xs Max. In addition to the Peak Design Straps I will also use their Cuff as well.

15.09.19: Regreted somewhat not taking the ILCE-7M2. The RX1 viewfinder kept falling off in crowded conditions, tour buses, security etc..

Protect your Nikon D810 LCD with the CGS III DSLR LCD SCREEN PROTECTOR

I’m the first to throw away those crappy clear plastic protectors Nikon ships with their pro DSLR bodies. They quickly get scratched, gather damaging dust and particles between them and the LCD. When it rains water just infiltrates under the plastic panel and it’s just plain...
