The Scout is a famous statue by Cyrus E. Dallin in Kansas City, Missouri. It is more than 10 feet tall, and depicts a Sioux Indian on horseback surveying the landscape.

Some scouts of the Futuron are exploring the surface of the planet.
This scene was build for the event in Norway (PKH).
Scout troopers were specially trained soldiers of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps. As light-armored variants of the Imperial stormtroopers, scout troopers were specifically trained for activities too complicated for regular infantry troopers. As such, they were exceptional additions to the Imperial Military as reconnaissance troops, spies and survivalists. They were especially excellent marksmen, and thus they were regarded as the finest snipers in service to the Galactic Empire. Hence, they were particularly useful as assassins.
Well I just got my first scout trooper figure, and I really like it, I believe star wars figs are one of the finest of all lego figs. Soon: Stormtrooper and scout trooper spec op custom fig, and darth vader portrait....
It's starting to get cold so Scout decided to wear her hoodie today. We went out for a quick solo shoot this afternoon. Didn't get what I was wanting but there were a lot of distractions and we were solo.
I was looking through the discussions feeds and seen the kind post that Hodgey put up about the passing of Pete and all of the kind words. I just wanted to say thank you for all of your kind words and sorry it took me so long to see it. Although me seeing it happened at the right time because earlier I was going through old photos of Pete getting some ready to send off for print then I came across the post. It was nice to see thanks everyone!

Well Scout is doing well with her insulin. She is drinking less water and just all around seems better. Here she is napping with her favorite brother Pete. We have had a ton of snow recently and I wanted to get a shot of her playing in it but by time I cleared all the snow and got into dry clothes the last thing I wanted to do was go back in it. As you can tell she seems ok with staying inside too.

Um Missionsszenarien zur robotischen Exploration vor dem Aufbruch zu Mond oder Mars auf der Erde zu erproben, suchen Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler Orte, die den Bedingungen auf einem fremden Himmelskörper möglichst nahekommen. Vom 13. Juni bis 9. Juli 2022 wird der Ätna auf der italienischen Insel Sizilien zum „Quasi-Mond“, denn die Vulkanlandschaft mit ihrer granularen Oberfläche und erstarrten Lavaschichten ähnelt der geologischen Beschaffenheit des Erdtrabanten. ARCHES steht für „Autonomous Robotic Networks to Help Modern Societies“. Forschende nutzen die unwirtliche Umgebung des Ätna als „Mond-Analog“. Mehrere Rover, ein Lander und eine Drohne arbeiten zusammen, erkunden ihre Umgebung und erfüllen Aufgaben.
Auch auf der Erde ist der Einsatz robotischer Netzwerke in vielen Situationen nützlich. Anwendungsbereiche sind hier etwa Katastrophenhilfe, Umwelt- und Meeresüberwachung oder auch der Einsatz im autonomen Straßen- und Bahnverkehr der Zukunft.

Heya! I'm kinda starting to make arctic themed MOCs after getting a few minifigs from the 2000 Lego Theme. So i'm prod to present: The Scout Arctic Walker.
This Walker is a small vehicle created to make traveling in Snowy lands more faster and easier. It has 4 slim legs to travel at High speed, a small compact orange structure and a small compartment in the back to keep useful tools.

Just for fun I created this digital painting from an original picture. If you ask me how I did it; the answer would be I don't remember because when I do this kind of work, I follow my instinct and I don't take notes. (Done in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet as a drawing board!)

This rover is typically use for scouting,patrolling and light espionage missions.
When offensive missions it is equipped with two axes.
Boy Scouts happened to be out camping at Airey Lake in Desoto National Forest, MS. Great night to be out and under the stars.

SCOUT: "Sellotape is at the ready Paddy!"
PADDY: "Excellent work Scout! I'm just going to fold this piece of paper over." *Concentrates very hard.* "And if you can stick it with your Sellotape here." *Holds paper with paw.*
SCOUT: "Goodness Paddy! This is really pretty paper."
PADDY: "Yes it is Scout! It's hand made red paper that has been hand printed with gold flowers. Daddy bought it from a fancy paper shop called Zetta Florence."
SCOUT: "I'll be very careful with the Sellotape then, Paddy." *Carefully sticks Sellotape onto the paper with a trembling paw.*
My Paddington Bear came to live with me in London when I was two years old (many, many years ago). He was hand made by my Great Aunt and he has a chocolate coloured felt hat, the brim of which had to be pinned up by a safety pin to stop it getting in his eyes. The collar of his mackintosh is made of the same felt. He wears wellington boots made from the same red leather used to make the toggles on his mackintosh.
He has travelled with me across the world and he and I have had many adventures together over the years. He is a very precious member of my small family.
Scout was a gift to Paddy from my friend. He is a Fair Trade Bear hand knitted in Africa. His name comes from the shop my friend found him in: Scout House. He tells me that life was very different where he came from, and Paddy is helping introduce him to many new experiences. Scout catches on quickly, and has proven to be a cheeky, but very lovable member of our closely knit family.

Scout AH1 XT634 of 666 squadron Army Air Corps.
XT634 served in the Army until 1995. It carried on with the civilian registration G-BYRX and was written off in December 2015. Something malfunctioned while hovering before take off, the pilot lost control and the helicopter rolled on its side.
