I no longer have my original Cub Scout uniform that included Wolf, Bear, Lion merit badges and arrows, but I have retained my nickel silver bracelet given to me by my Dad.

Many good memories achieving the different ranking levels of Webelos and eventually joining the Boy Scouts (BSA).

Scout craft for short range reconnaissance patrols. As speed is often key in these maneuvers, the Holostromis class is well suited to the task.

Scout had to spend a day at the vet for a glucose curve check. Looks like we have her insulin dialed in. As you can tell she was really happy when she got to go home. Have a great week everyone.

This image was taken last summer while on a dog walk. (very typical of me) The scout was parked on the mainstream of the town, I took a couple captures of it parked but on our way back (the dog and me) we spot it going around the circle and I snapped this quick photo of it and I quite like the result.

A Scout Trooper, aka a Biker Scout, are light-armored variants of the Imperial stormtroopers.

I find this figure in the toy box and ask myself why I haven't taken any photographs of it yet? I'm sort of continuing with the same theme as I did with Imperial Protocol Droid, but this time in colors.

Christmas Day walk around the village.

This year I’ve deliberately looked for the run down, neglected, overgrown and overshadowed by infrastructure. Several snapshots of the state of the nation. A couple of images are a bit off topic so your eyes aren’t deceiving you if there’s an unexpected “nice” scene or two in the series.

It was a bit too dark and overcast for a film camera so I fell back on my trusty Olympus set to “Grainy Film II” mode. A more forgiving camera when it comes to poor light.

After having some of the parts sitting in containers for 3 years I finally got around to making a Felucia moc! If you want more angles/pics check out the video on youtube: www.youtube.com/c/x212mocsandcustomsx/videos. I'll be posting more close up photos of the custom at-ot once I take the rest of the moc apart, so I actually have room to take pictures.

On Saturday I went to scouts and we sang songs around the fire and listened to a ghost story.

I spent a couple hours hiking around the periphery of Scout Lake today. It's a beautiful little lake near Whitehorse, and a great place to do a little fishing.

I'm not sure why, but for some reason, I haven't been out to Scout Lake for years. I rectified that today with a visit and a hike clear around the lake. Obviously, I had forgotten how beautiful it is.

Photo taken with the Canon EOS R and RF 24-105mm f/4.0 L. Finished images processed from raw in Adobe Lightroom. This photo was not cropped, other than a slight straightening of the horizon. It is not a composite image and no elements have been added or removed from the original photo.

The Alaska Territorial Guard (ATG), more commonly the Eskimo Scouts, was a military reserve force component of the US Army, organized in 1942 in response to attacks on United States soil in Hawaii and occupation of parts of Alaska by Japan during World War II. The ATG operated until 1947. 6,368 volunteers who served without pay were enrolled from 107 communities throughout Alaska in addition to a paid staff of 21, according to an official roster.[1] The ATG brought together for the first time into a joint effort members of these ethnic groups: Aleut, Athabaskan, White, Inupiaq, Haida, Tlingit, Tsimshian, Yupik, and most likely others. In later years, all members of some native units scored expert sharpshooter rankings.[2] Among the 27 or more women members were at least one whose riflery skills exceeded the men.[3] The ages of members at enrollment ranged from 80 years old[4] to as young as twelve[5] (both extremes occurring mostly in sparsely populated areas). As volunteers the Alaska Territorial Guard members were those that were too young or too old to be drafted during WWII. (Copy Courtesy of Wikipedia)

Sorry had to phone it in this week. Scout had her annual vaccination and not feeling well. I was really busy trying to get stuff done around the house so no time to get a decent photo.
