FOX 26 Chief Meteorologist, Dr. Jim Siebert, performed a wild n' wacky weather demo at the Children's Museum of Houston, on April 12, as part of CMH's latest weather exhibit, the Magic School Busâ„¢ Kicks up a Storm (opened through May 11, 2008). He was assisted by CMH educator, Keith Ostfeld.

Teachers were actively engaged in hands-on-minds-on explorations to investigate nature of science, earth and space, physical science, and life science concepts during the teacher training workshop Dr. Diana Wehrell-Grabowski conducted entitled "Implementing The Next Generation Sunshine State Science Standards In The Classroom." They are for Intermediate School students to learn basic math and science concepts through FUN activities and demonstrations. They will get to make rockets, search the stars, and test mind-boggling physics theories. Let's not forget playing math games!

The first stunt we did for Brainiac S5 - the 'Office ejector seat'. Built from an old office chair and using two I540's for propulsion, it actually flew surprisingly well.

I am exhausted... but it's not over. We got the spreadsheet thing working mostly before we had to turn it in, and I'm decently happy with our grade... but it's still not perfect. But now, I need to finish up the rest of the homework I didn't finish last Saturday before tomorrow morning. That includes preparing a 10 minute presentation on Artificial Intelligence that I have to give tomorrow.
