Today was Clark's birthday! It was a wonderful day of his now traditional birthday breakfast, going out to the movies and out for tacos for lunch, spending much of the day playing with his new 3DS, the best barbecued ribs I've ever made for dinner, after dinner Frisbee and driveway fun, and finished off with one of my best cakes ever-an Oreo cake. It was a happy day for all! :)

Teachers reviewed, read, and made connections to hands-on science explorations using children's literature during the Teaching Science Through Children's Literature workshop.

This was the first in Kristin Prather's series of Science and Math Workshops. They are for Intermediate School students to learn basic math and science concepts through FUN activities and demonstrations. They will get to make rockets, search the stars, and test mind-boggling physics theories. Let's not forget playing math games!

This is an easy and simple activity that can be done by anyone with simple items available at home.

FOX 26 Chief Meteorologist, Dr. Jim Siebert, performed a wild n' wacky weather demo at the Children's Museum of Houston, on April 12, as part of CMH's latest weather exhibit, the Magic School Busâ„¢ Kicks up a Storm (opened through May 11, 2008). He was assisted by CMH educator, Keith Ostfeld.
