It's a draft - I'm not going to spend too much time on finishing touches of the details because I make all these things as part of a (long) learning process in order to eventually be able to create realistic looking scenes.
Software: Blender 2.92 (it's free)
Music: Action Strike by Rafael Krux at Freepd.com (CC0)
Blender is undergoing a structural make-over towards "everything nodes". This means that everything that has so far been done by using modifiers, will be done with nodes. Or: I have to unlearn much of what I have learned so far and learn a whole new workflow instead. But this whole make-over that Blender is currently rolling out in stages, makes Blender even more powerful, more versatile and more flexible so it definitely is worth it.
First on the agenda: learning all about geometry nodes, new in Blender 2.92

One of the nice things about Adobe Lightroom is the ability to organize images in various ways.
For example one can create a "smart" collection, assigning various conditions and parameters that would cause images to be included or excluded. When finished editing an image in Ps and saved with the PSD extension, I also save it in a TIFF version consisting of a single layer.
So I have chosen to create smart folders organized by date, such as Tiffs_2017-12, in which I found this image. All the TIFFs created in the month of December 2017 could be found in that smart folder unless they have been posted to Flickr.
I've done the same for PSDs. Opening this image's PSD in Ps reminded me of what I had done back in December.
Toward the end of last year I had been playing with photos shot with the camera and then sent to my phone for editing in the phone's apps. I had created various versions of this using Snapseed and Stackables.
I then exported each of those versions back to the computer where they got stacked as layers in Ps. By playing with blend modes and masks, and sliding opacity one can mix various aspects of each version.
Since I found this image again, I figured I should post to the Sliders Sunday group while waiting an hour for one of the world cup matches I am eagerly anticipating.
Germany - Mexico
If each team plays to their ability, this would be a fantastic game.
Maybe as much fun to watch as Portugal - Spain had been.
Meanwhile, have a great Sliders Sunday!

When the sun sets , it means that it's an ending of a day , it takes away something , sometimes it's sad & sometimes it's overwhelming , But it always creats a beautiful scene that may last in the memory forever.
P.S : always look at the bright side
From beautiful times and beautiful memories of the times I spent on a project in Colorado Springs. my wife and I would venture every week to a nearby region to do sight-seeing and sometimes major hiking. This is one of these scenes, we are driving the rental SUV to a mountainous region, and I saw the clouds and the landscape. I stopped and took few photos to put in a panoramic view. Then things happened and I was shipped to an overseas assignment. So, I forgot about processing these photos. With the cold weather in Florida, I figured a good past time, is to look through my archives and find old photos I can process and post to Flickr.

CSX ES44DC 5288 and C40-9W 9001 (built as a C44-8W and modified by CSX) had an eastbound auto rack train pulling out of the Lansdowne storage track in 2008.
At the time, this hillside had recently been cut back due to construction, but today this is a complete tree tunnel.

Continuing a series of experimental photos with a Kodak No. 2 Folding Cartridge Premo (circa 1919). All settings are mentioned as they appear on the camera. If you are lost, I suggest starting with the first photo in the corresponding album.
I was testing out the focusing. I took several photos of this scene - one at 100ft, and the other at FIXED. They both turned out relatively the same, but in this case, 100ft gave me a slightly clearer image. Moving forward, however, I may stick with FIXED.
Shutter: 50
Focus: 100ft

A scene taken of the waterway that runs through the local country park. Although in need of restoration it is a fabulous place for the photographer and a great home for the water birds that live there.
Winter starts to fade away as tips of the trees melt and are exposed to the fresh air of early autumn. At the same time, we can recognise some patterns of the sky blue, as Fenniarail's freight to Patokangas with blue Vectron locomotive is turning to scenes that have become familiar to it.
A pair of Narrowbaots continue their journey along the Grand Union Canal, photographed at Braunston, Northamptonshire. Narrowboat 'HOPE VALLEY' is nearest the camera, whilst 'CRYSTAL CLEAR' is passing under Lock Bridge No.3.
24th September 2017.
As I was capturing this image, I imaged the Star Ship Enterprise emerging from the cloud and hitting light speed into the heart of the Milky Way. Yeah, I'm a ScFi nerd.
However, this scene was created naturally by low clouds in the valley below Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Taken just after a skiff of snow had covered the tops. It was actually a really nice day and I'm not entirely sure a photo does it justice.
