Early morning view across the water from Blackie Spit. First snowfall of the season. In the background, The Lions (Squamish: "Ch'ich'iyúy Elxwíkn" Twin Sisters) are a pair of pointed peaks (West Lion – 1,646 m (5,400 ft);[1] East Lion – 1,606 m (5,269 ft))[2] along the North Shore Mountains in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The beauty of the coastal waters of Madagascar enhanced by various cloud types and portions of a blue sky.
The scene this morning. The sun is shining but the temperature is below freezing and a gale force wind too. Looks as though winter has arrived.

Auto racks at Charleston Port being worked by an EMD GP16 loco. It was an unusual sight as the usual work is done by a Switcher / Shunter.

We rushed over bumpy, dusty roads and savanna to catch sight of this amazing mother and her four, one-year old cubs. It was amazing to watch this calm, dedicated, loving mother groom her cubs. She was so at ease, so confident. Her ability as a mother is without question since raising four cubs to that age is highly unusual. I particularly likes catching sight of the curious cub peeking from behind mom.

Monastère Gemo situé à 13 km du district d'Aba, dans la province du Sichuan, Chine.
Ce très grand monastère aux bâtiments gigantesques, se rattache au monastère de Labrang et appartient à l'école Gelugpa; il a été fondé en 1790 mais, comme beaucoup de monastères tibétains, il a été violemment restauré récemment.
La femme dans sa tenue traditionnelle tibétaine a été photigraphiée lors de la Kora, ou circumambulation autour du monastère,
