On a trip to the Alameda Creek in search of the Merganser and her 9 babies we were also treated to the passing of momma Wood Duck and her 8 babies...'a treat' I'll probably never see again in my lifetime! I know it's a pretty busy setting, but begger's can't be choosers...this is nature and an image I really wanted to share!
Momma Merganser stood on the rock while a few of the little ones would jump off, swim around and then climb back on the rock...this is one of those times I could have sat and watched for hours at this 'delightful scene'!

In the background, The Lions (Squamish: "Ch'ich'iyúy Elxwíkn" Twin Sisters) are a pair of pointed peaks (West Lion – 1,646 m (5,400 ft);[1] East Lion – 1,606 m (5,269 ft))[2] along the North Shore Mountains in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Auto racks at Charleston Port being worked by an EMD GP16 loco. It was an unusual sight as the usual work is done by a Switcher / Shunter.
Watch her, but don't WATCH her!

Prada’s boutique in the Aoyama district, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, is the rare Tokyo building surrounded by open space. Geometric glass walls offer kaleidoscopic views of the interior.
"He was warrior and mystic, ogre and saint, the fox and the innocent, chivalrous, ruthless, less than a god, more than a man. There is no measuring Muad'Dib's motives by ordinary standards. In the moment of his triumph, he saw the death prepared for him, yet he accepted the treachery.
Can you say he did this out of a sense of justice? Whose justice, then? Remember, we speak now of the Muad'Dib who ordered battle drums made from his enemies' skins, the Muad'Dib who denied the conventions of his ducal past with a wave of the hand, saying merely: "I am the Kwisatz
Haderach. That is reason enough. "
