While setting my camera for macro shots, a hummingbird arrived on scene to add flourish. I managed to grab this shot with my cell phone.
For humans living in the Northern Hemisphere, this has been a season of celebration and prayer for millennia.
Soon after we began this venture, the one24thscale team established a few holiday traditions of our own as we started crafting images to reflect a calendar full of holidays.
One of our traditions has become, standing in snowy fields to make Christmas images. A big part of that tradition is the annual, "Dusting the set with baking soda".
Wanted to show you a little behind the scenes from this beautiful morning in Norway last month.

You know that feeling, that desperate urge to click the camera. So my wife Clara & I toured the Illinois countryside today looking for Autumn mood shots.
Asked Clara to turn around when I saw this scene and being a formula one driver as her secret identity (this is classified info), her U-turn was no problem.

People that follow my stream may have noticed my love for capturing animals. This small herd of Lakenvelders in this rural setting reminds me of old paintings by Paulus Potter (no family of Harry ;-) ). Not that I wanna compare myself with the " Old Masters".
But I think Potter shared my love for the beauty of the rural life the same way I do.
So I dared to name this image: "Classic scene" ...
The 3rd in a series of photos taken along the Perth coast. Having grown up in Perth, Western Australia, I’ve always lived close to the coast. For some reason I find it really hard to photograph the coast in a way that feels interesting to me. We have beautiful beaches here, but there’s nothing exciting or exotic to me about a coastal scene. This is part of a series of photos I’m taking here in Perth, as I challenge myself to explore photographing more locally
I didn't exactly know how to thank you for all that help Eric, so I guess this is my way of showing my gratitude :3. It will have different lighting and it will have trash n' stuff with figures soon.
