It seems like a scene from a horror movie, the dark stormy sky, the tall white lighthouse, the waves crashing on the rocky cliffs..

Broken Social Scene. In the back corner you'll see their producer- apparently he'd been beaten up by NYC cops just days before, and had the black eyes and facial cuts to prove it.

Guess I'm back to digital, kinda missed it. Too much hustle over film developing here. But I'm not giving up, just kinda striking.

Same intersection, different day. Mardela Springs Fire/EMS and Maryland State Troopers on-scene of a vehicle accident on US 50 at Rte 54. Mardela Springs, Maryland.

I filmed another work video, but this time I had my own film crew.

We were shooting one of the VP's giving his end of the year video to all 7,000 people in his department. Instead of a boring old email, he wanted a nice looking video showing off how pretty it is here in Jacksonville. I was happy to help. So happy that I even came in on my day off to film it. I love this stuff.

See that white ovular light blocker thing? That's mine. I found it on the side of the road a few years ago and thought it would be useful one day. Sometimes it's good to be a hoarder.

Festival d'Avignon 2014, scène de rue .

Scenes from the three-hour evening which was Eat Local Now, held in SODO, Seattle at the Herban Feast facility and hosted by Sustainable West Seattle, CoolMom, and Seattle Good Business Network, and supported by score local farmers, cooks, and other locovores.

Was playing around with the scene-mode "snow" today. The snow really comes across much more realistic, as opposed to the "grey mess" you´re frequently getting in Program-Mode. In those cases you´re shooting JPG, scene modes and different Picture Control-settings really can come in very handy!

My brother called me and told me to get my ass down the block, since i was already out and walking towards the 2 firetrucks, multiple ambulances and 30 onlookers, I obliged.

When I got there, immediately I pulled out my phone and demanded my friend come down the block.

Somehow, some woman drove down the sidewalk and crashed between a tree and a wall in her Caddy. The car was wedged in perfectly and everyone seemed to have their own theory.

My theory: tranny crack whores and lots of blow.

Playdoh fun day, kids had fun at Grandma's house so we went out and got a bunch of playdoh to play with at home.

Another treasure:

When I read the caption on this plate, "A Cottage In A Cornfield After Constable" I couldn't make head or tail of the second line. The first Google search I did though, led me to the painter John Constable known for painting rural scenes of Suffolk England. It turns out this piece of transferware is part of a larger pattern where each piece features an image based on one of his paintings.

People's selfishness at leaving their bags on one seat inside and actually sitting in another place outside, means that there initially doesn't appear to be enough room for everyone. The guide manages to rearrange passengers though so that we can all sit with our original travel companions.

The low water levels slowing the journey down considerably and the fact that we left one and a half hours late because of the chaos at immigration, means we are unable to make the planned stop at a local village this morning. It does mean, however, that with seven hours of cruising, I can catch up on some much needed sleep after having been fully awake at 03:00 every morning so far on this trip.

The scenery along the side of the Mekong is somewhat of a surprise – I expected to see the cultivation and jungle with the buffalo, cows and occasional boar, as well as the people fishing, washing and playing in the water, but the two things that surprised me most were the rock formations and perfectly formed sand dunes. Jagged boulders of slate and sandstone litter the edges of the river, sometimes spilling into the middle of the stream, leaving only a narrow channel for navigation. With the shallow water being as low as just two metres in places, the captain has his work cut out as there is not much room for error.

Even though the sun was out and the temperatures were in the high 20s, it got rather cold on the boat this morning, especially with the wind and at times even the water spraying over the bow of the boat. Although not quite as exciting as the white water rafting in India last November, we did shoot a few rapids on this river too.
