This is the first scene of my storyboard short. It will be approximately 10-ish minutes long? It will all be shot like this but I may add sound or present/narrate it to the class as the video play like I'm doing an actual storyboard pitch.
Spectators enjoy the sunshine at Scholes Cricket Club's attractive Chapelgate ground, high in the South Pennine hills. Captured during an important third-versus-second clash with Moorlands in the Premiership of the Huddersfield Cricket League. Mirfield-based Moorlands won by 54 runs but still trail by two points leaders Hoylandswaine, who hammered Delph & Dobcross by 118 runs.
Put in, Moorlands' 231 total was about 20 short of a good score at the small, if scenic, Chapelgate ground, located at 827 feet. But the visitors then reduced Scholes to 51-5 as pacer James Edward Stansfield (4-55) wreaked havoc. Stansfield removed, for a duck, Scholes's England-born Kiwi Joe Carter, a key scalp. Benji Birkhead, a local lad who usually plays for Yorkshire Seconds/Academy, did his best to rectify the damage by hitting 68. Sparking fresh hope among the Scholes supporters, 19-year-old Birkhead, a talented wicketkeeper, and Jake Robshaw (36) added 59 for the sixth wicket. No 11 Josh Brook (7 not out) played defiantly before Darrell Sykes (2-35) finally ended the resistance of Birkhead, the last man out. Earlier, opener Shoukat Ali struck 108 (five sixes, 14 fours) only to be run out, going for a scampered single, by a superb throw from Carter. Siraj Sajid (33) helped Moorlands to a commanding 123-2 at drinks before Scholes fought back strongly, applying the brakes through Yaasar Imtiaz (3-47) and Wasim Javed (3-87). Having done well to restrict the visitors to 231, Scholes had reason during the tea interval for what proved unfounded optimism.
