Built in 1730, inspired such pity and sadness among the people of Steingaden that it was never used and hidden in an attic from 1730 - 1734
OK so to make a long story short, I got stuck past dark on the wrong side of the river at pocket, the water was ice cold, I was actually shooting ice formations. I didnt have a light, just my flash, and two of my friends came through for me so I could get across safely and without gettimg my camera wet. After my camera made it across, it was my turn. As I was crossing, I slipped on a rock and fell in. Ive never swam so hard, the water instantly zapped my core temperature. Right when I got across, my friend Josh gave me his jacket. If he hadnt of had a very expensive synthetic coat, I would not have even made it back to the car. Thanks to Steven also who crossed the water first to get my camera. The only thing that was injured was my bogen tripod, which suffered a broken knob.
