Made by Linda Austin, Luanne Rogers, Sharon Thompson, Lynn Wagner, Grace Zielske
Includes photos of our church and preschool to remind us of our responsibilities to care for our property and to serve the Lord by bringing others to hear His message.
Savior's Passage is so called after the khachkar that stands in it behind us.
The vaulted arcade leading to the book depository and Surp Nshan church on the right has a chapel-sepulcher and a number of beautiful khachkars (stone crosses), including the masterwork Amenaprkitch (All Savior) Khachkar.

Look them up :]
There will be plenty more of these shoots to come.
This shoot happens to be of my friend, Kenny, the owner of the company. We went up to Georgetown and covered his drums in snow, and NO, it didn't ruin them. Haha.
There was a fire close by so firetrucks were already here. Haha. Everyone else came pretty fast, though!
Read about it here:
Not the best photo I took on this shoot by far, but it needs to be included. We had difficulty finding the place which you get into via a lovely place called Bartram Gardens. When I found it and it was huge, and wonderful, and waiting, I had to shoot it from a distance. Just consider it a preview for the real stuff ;-)

Almost every morning when we our dear caterer makes the most abominable mass produced breakfast... we head out to our awesomely super duper friend, The un-named 'anna' who serves us the most yummiest Medu-wada" with chutney.
yum yum

After my flat I was a little bit chilly. Not terribly so, I wasn't in danger, but I'd been on the road for 11 hours. I was tired and cold and wet and tired of being cold and wet and tired. So, near dusk, when I came across a full-service NPS potty, I went into the men's room hoping for all hope that I'd find a tree-saving hand dryer. Or at least some water.
I was stunned with glee to find one, only to be shattered to find it broken. Crushed, I huddled in the men's room for 10 minutes, gathering courage to move.
As I saddled up I noticed the women's room. And, glory glory! a working hand dryer. Thankfully no ladies wandered in as I was drying everything. (Yes, everything).
Actually, it didn't help much, but I needed the mental lift of something at least appearing to go my way.
I would eventually spend Thursday night in Raphine, right off I-81. I started the day at 6:30 a.m. and rolled into Rapine at 9:30 p.m.
a stout fishing boat came along and offered us a tow back to Steveston. Thank you thank you thank you! Jeremy offered them money but they refused. Apparently if you don't bring up the issue of money (in exchange for a tow) the person who tows you can put a salvage claim on your boat and attempt to take it as their own. uhhhhh no
Jeremy had a called a marine towing company to get a quote...over $600 for a tow and god knows how long it would take for them to get to us. You're far better off flagging down a boat headed in your direction and asking for a tow. The Linda Tracey is the best! Boaters tend to take care of one another.
