Golf courses can be such wonderful havens for flora and fauna. This wonderful oak at the Sherfield Oaks golf course. This oak is just coming into leaf magnificently.
Une survivante d'une série de bulbes plantés il y a plusieurs années par les anciens propriétaires...Y en aura-t'il encore une autre l'an prochain?

It is the most distinctive grasshopper species within the southeastern United States, and is well known both for its size and its unique coloration. It can reach nearly 3 inches in size. I just recieved my 10,000th view when I posted this image of this magnificent Humming Bird, sitting quietly in the front yard in the bushes, I captured this amazing image with my Canon F4 70-200mm lens, I took about 30 shots in 6 seconds all are of great quality. I like this one, because of the blue background, which is a blue colored dumpster across the street.
Hope Y'all like it) Lol: Gasssman

This is some sort of geranium which was growing at the Allen Gallery in Alton where we went to visit a wonderful exhibition of photography by Jane Bown. The garden is full of interesting plants in particular a selection of geraniums of so many varieties.
Leaves not as colorful this year. October 31 and most of the trees are still green or the leaves turning brown. I'm missing you, Autumn.
“THANKS EVERYBODY FOR THE KIND COMMENTS, REALLY APPRECIATED.”

Victoria amazonica is the world’s largest water lily and among the largest in the Nymphaeaceae family. The first discovery was in 1801 in Bolivia and it is indigenous to the Amazon River basin’s shallow waters. This species is the national flower of the Republic of Guyana and appears on the country’s coat of arms. The flower is famous for its enormous circular leaves. The common names for the water lily include Amazon water-lily, Victoria-lily, or Giant water lily.

The orchard at Deane House Hampshire. Red campion flowers grow in abundance in one corner, creating a splendid view into the orchard itself. Hampshire is full of romantic places and I think this is one of them. It reminds me of impressionist paintings.
Quelques grosses pommettes...et une multitude de petites garnissent les branches de notre pommetier, planté il y a un peu plus de deux ans...

Mist, suspension in the atmosphere of very tiny water droplets (50–500 microns in diameter) or wet hygroscopic particles that reduces horizontal visibility to 1 km (0.6 mile) or more; if the visibility is reduced below 1 km, the suspension is called a fog. Mist appears to cover the landscape with a thin, grayish veil. In the United States the term mist is sometimes used loosely to designate a drizzle, a very light precipitation composed of small water droplets (200–500 microns in diameter) falling to the ground. In Scotland and parts of England, a combination of thick mist or fog and heavy drizzle is called Scotch mist.

This scene caught my eye at the allotment. I love catkins, an early sign of spring. These were bright lime green against the dark blue fence. HFF!
