American Red Cross of the California Northwest honored 10 inspirational community members for their lasting impact on the community at the16th Annual Real Heroes Breakfast on May 17, 2019! Throughout our community there are everyday people who have touched our lives through their selfless acts of courage. These heroes may have helped save a life, performed an extraordinary act of compassion, or have demonstrated an exceptional spirit of giving.

On Saturday, October 20 the 7th Annual Save-A-Limb Ride, Walk and Festival took place at Oregon Ridge Park. Participants took part in a 6, 15 and 30 mile bike ride or a 1-mile family walk. Guests included Chris Horner (Winner of the 2011 Tour of California), Robbie Ventura (Professional Rider and Tour de France Commentator), Earl Cole(winner of Survivor Fiji) and the Maryland Batman!
The money raised from the event will help individuals around the world who experience joint ailments and limb deformities.
