Venue co-host and producer extraordinaire, Lucinda Carmichael (also known as Studio Director for Sandbox Studio Portland), wears a fab vintage green dress and yaks it up with party goers.

The Sand Box Motel was once the Cresse Court's Motel. It was owned by the Amoroso

Family from South Philly.

 

My Mom, Dad and I stayed there in '64, '65, '66, '69 & '70. Although roughly 5 blocks from the beach, the People, Owners and Guests alike always seemed to have a good time. Many of my most cherished memories of the Wildwoods came from those vacations.

 

I was very happy to see that this property survived.
