Was getting gas tonight when I caught this shot. It was saying "black and white"; which was converted in Snapseed.
Bangkok's rivers are beautiful compared to Jakarta's. Hope it is gonna change. We can always learn from other person if we want.
Week 13 – Story - Golden Hour
Early Start Benefits
The brief for Week 13 of the challenge was as follows; Story – Golden Hour: The golden hour is the hour before sunset or after sunrise when the sun casts amazing golden tones. Find a way to use the golden hour to tell a story.
This week was a torture test as far as work goes, (arrive in the dark and get home in the dark) so finding the time to put a shot or two together has been near on impossible. I did throw my camera in the car and tried to head up to the top level of the car park and get a shot of Melbourne pre-dawn but the area where I have previously gone has now been fenced in and I couldn't get the shot I wanted.
Whilst I did capture some images from the car park hand held (couldn't use the tripod due to the area being fenced off) they just had too much shake in them to be useful regardless of the amount of editing I did.
ln the end, I captured this image of the Autumn Sun awakening over Melbourne whilst I was in the office. We are fortunate to be 16 floors up from the streets below and we have a great view down the Yarra River to the Dandenong Ranges.
This image was captured with my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) and it was shot through double glass so it’s pretty average quality but I do like the reflected glow down the Yarra River.
Sometimes work has its benefits, even if it means an early start.
What more can you want? A car wash, clothes, Burger King and even Christmas trees!

They have no name, they are fake flowers. They actually lamps that are molded into flowers. And they are strikingly beautiful.
A trip into town again this morning, and used my phone to capture some of the street art there.
