Nikon D810 Photos Taken by Nikon D800E! She (The d800E) Was Jealous, But I still Love Her!

The 45surfer bracket setup for simultaneous stills and video (Nikon D810 + 150-600mm Tamron Zoom Lens for Nikon + the new 4K Sony FDR-AX100/B 4K Video Camcorder) allows me to shoot 4K video alongside 36mp stills of the Surf Goddesses! Will be using this setup at the Vans US Open of Surfing in late July in Huntington Beach (Surf City USA!), and the Hurley Pro at Trestles in September! This power was simply inconceivable a few short years ago!

The Nikon D810 is the hottest model I have shot to date, up there with the swimsuit bikini model goddesses! :)

JK, I could shoot the bikini models with a Canon 5D MK3 even and they'd still look good.

Shown with the Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD Lens for Nikon ! For shooting Alana Blanchard & the surf goddesses at the Van's US Open in a couple weeks!

Nikon D810 + Sony FDR-AX100/B 4K Video Camcorder Photos Taken by Nikon D800E! She (the D800E) Was Jealous, But I still Love Her!

The Nikon D 810 is mounted on a sturdy aluminum Vanguard Tripod or quality Manfroto Monopod! I prefer the aluminum over the carbon as it is thinner and heavier and has less of a chance of getting caught in a gust and tipping over! Although it happened once at the grand canyon, but I caught it! But the lightweight carbon-fiber with the wider legs would blow away! :)

All the best on your Epic Hero's Odyssey from Johnny Ranger McCoy! :)

The annual user conference for HCL Digital products (HCL Notes/Domino, Connections, Sametime, Domino Volt, Volt MX and other products) took place in Bruges in Belgium on May 24 and 25 2022.

Once again Theo Heselmans and his lovely wife Hilde pulled off a spectacular event. There was food, there was beer, there was a guided tour of the beautiful City Hall in Bruges, there was beer, there was the opportunity to learn, there was beer, there was the opportunity to teach, there was the opportunity to connect with more people and... oh yeah... there was beer (if anyone had told me I would fall completely in love with a fruity beer, I would have said they were joking, but I had at least five of those on Tuesday).

You can read my blog posting about the conference here -> domino.elfworld.org/restyling-with-the-young-at-engage/

One of the hundreds found disgarded & ended up in the landfill (this one looks to be in 'mint' complete condition!), because they are no longer wanted or cared about. Those, like myself who look for ways to collect them & bring them back to not only clean & healthy state, but completely restored: any odor & stains removed; their yarn hair may be re-rooted, cosmetics like the eyes repair, etc.

In fact, I feel they are restored to a state of Collector's quality.

Please, help those who do this work to rescue these cuties & help save our planet at the sametime.

I thank you for you're help.

Two boys riding (literally) a bike. The boy in front uses his left foot to peddle while the boy behind uses his right foot to peddle. They were doing it so successfully I didn't notice until I looked at the photo.

This Triatomid Bug (Rhodnius prolixus) was one of the most dangerous animals that I encountered in Panama during my visit. Mosquito vectored diseases such a Malaria & Yellow Fever are currently absent from the canal area of Panama but Chagus Disease (American Sleeping Sickness) is still found throughout Central and South America, including Panama. The pictured Rhodnius prolixus (and other closely related species) attack at night where it, most often, sucks blood from the face of a sleeping individual causing serious swelling and itching. At the sametime the insect is feeding it defecates. If the insect is infected with the trypanosome parasite (upwards of 40% are) the fecal material is laden with the parasite. When one scratches the bite, there is a good chance that the fecal material will be push, with the parasites, into the wound -- and the infection begins. Without treatment the disease is long-lasting having a variety of nasty symptoms and finally resulting in death from a heart attack. Canopy Tower, Panama.

I attempted to focus on the separation in tonal values that is created from the different layers of trees. The negative space that is created from the dense black is it right or is it to much? Well only you can be the judge. I enjoy shooting at that entry level of IR film! In and around 710 nm. I find it to be the middle ground of IR, kind of like one foot in the IR (dream) world and one foot in the UV (real) world. It's magical yet logical at the Sametime. Developed in Perceptol 1:3 18 min, stand proc. Not selenium toned.

I added some stuff to add more spice to the original design, but tring not to over doing it at the sametime.

Insane BRS has those badge+stripe things hanging down her chest, so I think to add something visually similar aswell, so this BRS can have more detail but still looks like the charactor came out of the same animetion.

Hubby got her from flea-market yesterday. She was cheap.

He wants me to send her to someone.

But now I'm not sure.

Lol.

I kinda like her.

But sametime.. I kinda like her to go.

There is something in her.

He is plastic, as you can see.

But...

Her flowers are paper, I think they are.

And her skirt...

She looks sad.

She was made in Japan by Sanrio.

You all have heard the news from Japan,

it is so sad. All that tragedy.

---

I like her.

But if someone likes her more, she is ready to move.

I took this photo in Saskatchewan while away working from my home province of Newfoundland. I was invited to a cow branding and of course i said yes, it was my first time attending such an event. I grabbed my d200 and my trusty 50mm 1.8 and jumped in the truck a little nervous and excited at the sametime.

I watched the cowboys get the young bulls ready for castration and branding, the propane burners were going full blast heating up the branding iron's till they were red hot. I have to say i felt kinda sorry for the young bulls because as a welder by trade i know the pain of a burn from hot steel. After it was all said and done i had the chance to try some "Prairie Oysters" not my first choice of a delicacy but it wasn't all that bad.
