Lit with two strip lights slightly behind on either side and a ring light around my AF Nikkor 85mm f/1.8D lens on a Nikon D610. Triggered with Pocket Wizards and built-in slaves on the White Lightning strobes.

We were in downtown Toronto at John Street and Adelaide where they were shooting scenes for the series Flashpoint. I was able to get a few shots of some of the cast. Sam and Jules are the "on again off again" ongoing romance / saga in the series.
Now, this is a good one. I quickly took this shot as they kindly posed for me. Well, if you saw people dressed in white vests, long johns and swimming caps, wouldn't you? :-D
Anyway, as I went to take a flyer, Sophie asked me how I was, Sam started sing The M62 Song by Doves, as I had a Doves t-shirt on. We got chatting, and they told me about their show "To The End Of The World". After leaving them, I decided that as they took the time to talk to me rather than just force a flyer on me, I would go and see it, as it's not something I would go for normally. I have to say it was great and I really enjoyed it. So thank you Sophie and Sam for taking the time to talk to me!
As a 'frame' of reference (hehe), this is where I watched Game 7 of the NBA Finals. I still deny all accusations that I cut the interview short so I could catch the game.

Old Town Monrovia, September 23, 2005 (by Kent Kanouse). Later renamed Sam's Mediterranean Kabob Room. After being featured on the TV show "Kitchen Nightmare" in 2012, the restaurant closed in 2013 after 17 years in business.
