Salsas make any Food Better

Today I made piccalilli and salsa out of six pounds of green tomatoes. Oh, and six litres of turkey soup. I was a kitchen maniac today!

I now have no reason to ever buy the stuff in a jar. They never make it spicy or coriandery enough anyways.

I normally make it fresh, but cutting the tomatoes and onions small enough is boring. Charring a pile of vegetables and then throwing them all in the blender is so much easier and way more fun.

No. I'm not sharing. Make your own jar.

Model: Marta

I bought three salsa dress a little while ago for a shoot that I had planned for but the model that I was going to work with cancelled on me…I finally found someone to wear the dress for me and as you can see it suits her very well.

This young lady actually has a lot of tattoos on her body and it was my first go at removing them. The dress also had a lot of creases in it and I used the clone stamp to remove it.

In lightrooms I increased the exposure slightly, along with the sharpness and vibrances.

This is what I wore to Salsa tonight. The flat shoes made spins easier, although I actually hate flats and much prefer a little bit of a heel.

You can't really tell from the pic, but the skirt is really light and flares out really easily when you turn. It's my new fave dance skirt. :)

A home made fresh salsa of tomato, onion, green chile, cilantro, and garlic. Also known as pico de gallo, although that usually has raw jalapeno or serrano rather than roasted green chile. No matter what you call it, it is quite tasty. For 2016: one photo each day (158/366).

Ines peels a roasted chile de agua to add to the bowl of roasted tomato to make a tasty salsa in the Zapotec village of Santo Tomas Jalieza, Oaxaca.

I adore reds, and I so love gladiator sandals.

Blood reds with black gladiators are two stunning peas in a blissful pod. It just doesn’t get any better than that.

Thank you so much for looking.
