Well it is from now on after the incident at the New Deer show.

Rocky Mountain Foreman III Lineman Ron Burbridge goes over the equipment linemen will be using during the field trials, Sept. 2-3. After a half day of classroom instruction and half day of testing each lineman's proficiency and comfort with the helicopter, Rocky Mountain lineman replaced hardware on 10 miles of transmission line outside Laramie, Wyoming, as a test case of the efficiency and value of using helicopters to transport people to structures. Safety and job briefings took place once a day or more to ensure linemen were comfortable with the process. (Photo by Lisa Meiman)

On the 16th February 2017 the fireman of no. 99 7234-0 throws a piece of spilt coal onto the footplate before departure from Wernigerode.

Found this switch box mounted on the wall in the rail delivery area. "SAFETY FIRST" is cast into it's iron cover, as well as other warnings which I can't make out. An engraved label in the center, which can be clearly read at full size says "WELDER CIRCUIT A.C."

Safety is a cheap and effective insurance policy.

Sometimes if you don't follow simple rules or don't take precautions, serious things might happen, so follow the rules that are set for your own safety. Most of us don't care about simple and basic rules because we think they're silly and not important. That's what I had thought for a while, but I've changed my mind after several accidents that happened to me because I ignored couple or rules<< I learned my lesson eventually, and what I'm trying to leave you with is that follow these "silly" rules that are made for your own safety.

That's the purpose of this picture.

Interesting way to convey the importance of safety :)..Seen along a construction site on the UT Campus. Best seen large Large... I would have preferred a much tighter crop, but without a part of the road the shot would be totally out of context. Suggestions are welcome.

Not sure but "Colt" could refer to the UT Quarterback Colt McCoy.

just another day at the office.

The newest permanent exhibit at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis is called "Treasures of the Earth", and it was developed in conjunction with National Geographic -- what an A+ combination! The exhibit includes the underwater wreck of William Kidd's pirate ship, the Egyptian tomb of Seti I, and the terra cotta warriors buried with China's first emperor. (Don't tell the kids, but I'm looking forward to going back on a solo trip so I can take it all in...)

This shot was too funny to pass up. One of the interactive parts of the exhibit is a "dig site" where kids can pick up tools and scrap away some especially sticky sand to slowly expose more wonders of ancient China, and the kids have to wear protective goggles in the dig site. Someone evidently decided that this terra cotta warrior needed some eye protection, too... Honestly, he looks a little grumpy about it! ^_^

We hired a boat to take us to Rinca, home to Komodo National Park.

Frank as leader on the last day of project chatting to Phil . Phil was busy removing "coat hangers" from the trees along the track in the effort to prevent visitors from injuring themselves. Very wisely. Phil was protecting her own eyes by wearing eye protectors.

This was in the bathroom of the museum.
