It is never too soon to teach children bicycle safety. We have worn helmets while cycling for over thirty years. I have fallen onto cement, railway tracks, pavement and gravel always on my head, so I swear by helmet use. Our bikes are in the background. We had just decended a very steep and curvy hill into Alma N.B. just south of Fundy National Park. When we came out of the store a cute little girl was riding her tricycle down the street.
