Say what you mean

and act how you feel,

because those who

matter don't mind,

and those who mind

don't matter.

Took this one to 30s to see how the swirls would look. Elakala Falls in Blackwater Falls State Park, WV.

The slow swirling of myrtle leaves at the base of this fall was mesmerizing, almost hypnotic...so much that I completely forgot that I was squatting waist-deep in water.

The Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art (French: Musée d'art moderne Grand-Duc Jean), abbreviated to Mudam, is a museum of modern art in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. The museum stands on the site of the old Fort Thüngen, on the southwestern edge of the Kirchberg-plateau, in close proximity to many of the European Union institutions based within the city.[

The building was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect I. M. Pei, and cost $100m to build.

Keeping an eye on things. Cloud swirl as I saw it.

For the last decade, I've been making a photo calendars that I give family and friends for Christmas.

This year, in light of the devastating fires that consumed nearly a quarter of a million acres of Southern California, destroyed countless homes and structures, and took lives, I decided to title this one Light Shows Along the Pacific Coast Highway, where the Woolsey Fire did much of its damage.

And I've also decided to offer these calendars for sale at the link below and donate a portion of the proceeds to California Fire Relief efforts. I hope you'll check it out and consider purchasing one or more.

This is the January photo -- from El Matador State Beach, one my favorite locales on earth.

beginning to dance open in a swirling way.. so elegantly... also I love a rose with more colors and shades!

Long exposure of a bouquet of flowers.

Twirls and swirls of the unique Galpins conebush foliage...with a delightful female seed cone.

Leucadendron galpinii is a multi-stemmed, evergreen perennial with long, upright stems covered in silver-green foliage. A native of South Africa.

This is cultivar Purple Haze growing to 1.5 m. Seed cone diameter 20 mm.

I don't know what kind of car it is. But it looked cool. It looked fast. I had to play tonight, thus a really late post. It was an outdoor gig and a private function. It is hard to drum while being eaten by mosquitoes.

Happy Slider Sunday

Oh I had such a cool image worked out in my head and I could not make it quite the way I pictured it so I am a bit disappointed. I wanted bold vibrant colors in the background but it made processing a bit of a chore so posting and moving on. There is a time to realize when to cut our losses and try again another day, I passed that up a while ago.

My stress-squeezed week is almost free of its greasy, choking grip.

In lieu of any meaningful commentary where I say words that are funny, insightful, or interesting, I offer only this picture. And a promise that I'll get back to saying more interesting things -- ideally, on your photostreams -- post-Friday.

All right.

Good talk, I'll see you out there.

American Ranch, Prescott, Arizona, September 2022.

My favourite place on Skye is Elgol. This is where the water meets the rocks. It is memsmerising to stand there looking across to the Cuillin with the water swirling about you.
