New! Challenge 245.0 ~ Spring Life ~ The Award tree ~

Not your normal symmetrical Dahlia flower. This one in my garden has very large flowers with quite a wild effect with the petals swirling all over the flower.

Wood Anemones with Helios 44-2 & Frontlens Mod

So I had to choose between categories: Swirl, Twist or Below...

I chose Swirl, #29, 52 in 2017.....

tho the antique people called it a scroll. Oh, well.....

A swirling sea with the sun reflected on the swells.

A good session with Maxence who showed me this beautiful jewel.

I had the opportunity to use my ND1000 to test a long exposure shot, so that appeared this effect of swirling water.

Macro Mondays 'smoke' theme.

The smoke measures approx 1" in width, cropped from a bigger image.

Revisiting an early morning, springtime trip to Prairie Creek Park. This shot averages 15 successive exposures to get that extra-long exposure look without the excess noise.

It looked like God took his paintbrush and painted some swirly clouds today! ; )

shot with a fujifilm x-s10, a pixco 0.71x focal reducer, and a pentax smc 50mm f/1.4 screw-mount lens.

Captured for Looking close... on Friday theme: Nothing in Focus (Black and White).

The rebounding of the sea from the sea wall causes it to move in unexpected directions.

Taken from Cromer Pier, Cromer, Norfolk, England.

This is the 4th photo from my time up at Enders Falls (one more to go). I like the spotty texture to some of the lines - they were due to the waves in the water making them appear and disappear. If memory serves, this is two shots put together, one 2.5 seconds and the other 30 seconds. The 2.5 seconds was for the falls, and the 30 seconds was for the pool at the bottom. Not much else to say other than I hope you enjoy! :)

Ein guten "Rutsch" in den 1. Mai für euch!!!

8sec exposure with 0.6ND Filter. Taken downstream from Scaleber Foss, near Settle,Yorkshire Dales National Park

Extended the shutter to get the cool swirls in the flowing surface.

Still having fun with PhotoShop!
