Duck enjoying a cool swim on a very warm afternoon!

It was the Dunedin Midwinter swim on Sunday, I didn't go in but lots did ..it looked freezing! Most people didn't stay in long but some hardy souls were still swimming when we left.

I'm sorry if any of you are getting tired of seeing pictures of my wife, but I just never get tired of taking pictures of her. I know I'm biast, but I think she is the most beautiful woman on the planet. I say that because I know her inside and out. All of you in flickr world only see what she looks like, but I know her heart and her soul, her desires and dreams, she is kind and compassionate, the most giving person I know. She is simply an amazing young woman. Today we went to a pool party and she rarely ever goes in the water except to wet her feet. I'm so glad I got her to jump in the water, there is something so sexy about a woman getting her hair all wet, or is that just me?

Three geese swimming at sunset. It was one of those perfect Vancouver evenings - watching kayakers, paddle-boarders, sailboats, swimmers, ships, and Canada geese, all slowly drifting into silhouette on the incoming tide.
Babies first swim lesson, and the chick between the legs of the Dad was the one most reluctant.

This event takes place each year on the west coast of Ireland in the bay between Lahinch & Liscannor, County Clare. The water is cold even in August. I went to Lahinch most Sundays as a child as we lived in Ennis some 19 miles away.
I have been taking more of these Baby swim shots I showed you couple a weeks ago.
Now we are letting them be on their own in the water. It is a little bit tricky but the outcome is great I think.

My neighbor's daughter was swimming at the swimming pool, when I asked her to pose for me. After several attempt, finally I got the picture that I wanted. But she was sullen, because I kept asked her to do it again and again.
