I wish I could remember what these two old guys were making but I'm fairly sure it was cigar related (it pretty well all was!).

'Ocean Sure'

Yeah, yeah-ah, yeah-ah

Sometimes our love is clear horizons

But sometimes I feel I'm lost at sea

I'm in love so deep

But I need you to guide me

My lighthouse

Right next to the ocean

Where I won't be insecure

'Cause you gave me in the breathe

When I'm feeling unsure

I wanna be ocean sure

And I'm the one you adore

Want you to make me sure, sure

I wanna be ocean sure

Why don't you love me more

I need you to love me more

'Till I want you too

Sometimes our love is clearer waters

But sometimes those waves come crashing down on me

And I can't breathe

I need you to rescue me

My lighthouse

Right next to the ocean

Where I won't be insecure

'Cause you gave me in the breathe

When I'm feeling unsure

I wanna be ocean sure

And I'm the one you adore

Want you to make me sure, sure

I wanna be ocean sure

Why don't you love me more

I need you to love me more

'Till I want you too

'Till I want you

I wanna be sure

I'm who you adore

Can you make me sure?

Ohhh, I wanna be sure

I'm who you adore

Can you make me sure?

I wanna be ocean sure

And I'm the one you adore

(And I'm the one you adore)

Want you to make me sure, sure

I wanna be ocean sure

Why don't you love me more

I need you to love me more

I want you to be sure

'Till I'm ocean sure

Featuring a throwback of us as young adults, Vin was inspired by the song Ocean Sure. He came up with the beach scene (created by the one and only Studio Skye!) as well as this fantastic, sweet couples pose while I took the picture. ^^

Just thought I would post another shot of Sir Lance-A-Lot standing erect in the same water that he was hunting in. I’m thinking that I might should ask as it could me Miss Lance-A-Lot, but that’s another story. I’ve seen this particular Tri-colored Heron hunt from a number of different position but it really does prefer that skimming the top of the water technique. It’s still beyond me how it spots the prey under the surface of the water at such a shallow angle. BTW, this one rarely misses. Photo taken on Horsepen Bayou.

I really do not know for sure which one of these captures, that I present today to you, I love most !!! Because, all of them, represent one of my mostly loved spots in my beloved Château-land -- Château De La Hulpe. These captures are taken on a bright , sunny, November day. I was standing just a few meters away in each , while being always at the same spot….It is a magical , inspiring, and uplifting place, especially between mid October and mid November….

This is a part of my personal “Château secret path” of about 30’-45’ in my beloved Château Forest(s). Every time I arrive here, I stop, breathe deeply, look around in deep admiration and awe, listen to the sounds, and say….”thank You!!”(…and then, I start photo-shooting…). Right here, the path close to the first water-side stops, so I have to turn around the water-side, in order to follow the other side of my path, again close to the waters…Just like walking alongside a large, river-like pond, surrounded by a magical, colourful woodland…..

(*** It is really worthed, to experience these captures in LARGE, in case you have some time available…)

She's pretty sure she owns the place!

Continuing this brief series of cool sights I saw on a single morning outing to Grasslands, the park at my doorstep. These two Moose with their calves were a surprise; I tend to see moose more often in fall and winter. And last year there was considerable noise and commotion as contractors built a new bridge across the Frenchman River - resulting in many wildlife species, including moose, steering clear of the area until things settled down.

But.. they're ba-ack!

I'm so happy. They add an extra touch of wildness to the prairie landscape. Twenty-four years ago, when I first spent some extended time hanging out in this place, moose were a rare sighting. In the interim, they have arrived to occupy the valley, and other prairie locations, too; biologists are not sure why.

My theory? They find ample food and shelter here, where there are no natural predators, no hunting, and an abundance of peace and quiet. Essentially these are the same reasons I moved here full time in 2011. I'd like to think I'm smarter than the average moose. But maybe I'm not.

More to come...

For sure one of the more interesting new routes to emerge in 2019. Jazeer offering a near daily service from Kuwait City to London Gatwick. Interesting competition to the State owned Kuwait Airlines and British Airways at LHR. A nice new scheme, significantly improved from when I saw them in 2015. flic.kr/p/xfgF8H

Boy the rich sure know how to Christmas shop don't they? No lugging around bags like a pleb, hands cutting, thighs chaffing. Not with a new Shop-o-matic 3000 to do all the schlepping, no sir. Why, Christmas shopping is a breeze!

(A tad late to be buying xmas trees huh, but whaddyagonnado??)

When we all need a little something, you can be sure of me and I can be sure of you.

This print can be found in my **New Etsy Shop** - link found in my profile!

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but my recollection is that until a few years ago this was a canal-side shop that also did teas. But after the very large investment in improved facilities at Foxton Locks, including the rebuilding and refurbishment of the Foxton Locks Inn across the other side of the canal, lots more people visit Foxton Locks and Bridge 61 is now a second pub. Anyone in 2016 who is prepared to sell me a pint of bitter shandy for just £1.60 deserves all the publicity they can get!

be sure to follow me on, where post most of my photos, as well as more stuff coming up from the Posbank!!:

Yes! Time for a bit of a dance, as the heather on the Posbank is blooming again!!

After shooting some photos of the blossoming heather, I was looking for trees, sunstars and some fog. As the fog was not so intense, I was glad to stumble over this very local bit of fog surrounding these trees!

I'm not sure about the name of this mountain.

I´m not sure, but think it´s a Aphantopus hyperantus. Tell me if it´s wrong plz.

Have a nice Thursday all of you!

Thanks for kind visit, comment and fav. Much appreciated!!

My apology to D P Murphy. All the Grevellia near the Wadsworth Theatre was pruned with extreme prejudice. No hummers today. None. Update: D P Murphy got his Allen's. YAY!

Circa 1950-4. Not sure if it moved to our new home in '54 when we moved in or if we had it before. The light under the shelf works, but not the clock/timer. The width of the stove is 36 inches.

This great stove was sold with the house in 2015. I miss ir!

Sure, Sex Is Great...But Have You Ever Farted Away A Stomach Ache?

Not sure if it was a deliberate patch to encourage the bees or just natural - but it was good to see either way ! Mind you , the bees would do a lot better if the temperature got a bit better - not too hot but a bit more comfortable than this chilly June and of course some more blue sky would be nice !!

"...sure...." / size 185cm / 2006

Meadowlark on Beaver Lake Road.

I'm not sure if you can tell the theme of this photo, but it's mostly blue. Going through the archives from my trip. Some are better than others. Can't just post photos of barns, yo.

But the best part, is when I added this location to the map, check out the official city/town it's located in

Not sure but they may have been taking vegetation to bind their nests.

I had a real bonus yesterday.. the first cuckoo I have ever heard here in 30 years. It roved from tree to tree using them as songposts. Of course it was buried in foliage but a magical interlude that gave me an excuse to abandon studying :-)

I'm sure I didn't look at all silly squatting in my living room in the dark in the middle of the night illuminating an empty bottle with the rear light from my bicycle.

Not sure what this is but shot it anyway! Shot during the morning blue hour. A minimalist long exposure shot using a 6 stop ND filter.

Sure is dark over the ocean at night

Well it has sure been a while since I took any photo's. so I hope you are all well. I took a quick trip out to Moe's rock to catch some waves and watch the whales cruise by it was a fab morning and it felt good to be out doing my thing, I saw about a dozen whales. It was a pretty calm morning on a incoming tide the waves were only 12- 15 ft with the odd 20ft freak one. there wasn't much sun so the water looked like a darkish emerald green but when the sun popped out the turquoise blue shone through. it was hella cold out there also.

I'm pretty sure this self portrait shoot is what has made me feel like death all day today.. maybe I caught something.

This shot is growing on me but I think I could have done much better if it wasn't -8 degrees that day and the cold didn't get the better of me! I could barely feel anything when I got indoors, haha.

Two more shots from this on my blog! I've been posting quite a bit of work to my blog lately, and I was wondering if I should start posting my personal work on flickr too. What do you guys think?

The Sûre (Sauer in Luxembourgish1 and German) is a Belgian-German-Luxembourgish river and a left-bank tributary of the Moselle. It is therefore part of the Rhine watershed.

The river takes its name from the acidity of its water.

Its course is 206 km and its watershed covers 4,240 km2. Its main tributaries are the Wiltz, the Alzette, the Ernz Blanche, the Ernz Noire, the Our and the Prüm.

Not sure if it's just me but everytime I look at this photo I think of the Red Shoes in the Wizard of Oz!

Sure they are not sparkly... but I just get that vibe!

Photo taken last Sunday at a Vintage Shop in Newtown.

Also thanks to everyone who viewed my last photo. Somehow it made Explore even though I have been the worst Flickr friend in the world and have barely been on here! Anyway I am grateful for the Explore and it's a nice wlcome back.

"Sure," I replied, "but give me your email address so I can send you a copy."

"It's OK, I don't have to see it," he said. (and he didn't even "chimp" my camera LCD).

From way back to the days when I was shooting film, it has always amused me to hear/see people ask "Shoot me! Take a picture, please" knowing they will not see the end results. I've always wondered why. :)

.

Still not sure about this one. I like the dynamic nature of it, but part of me wants more of it in focus. Still playing with all my extension tubes on my lensbaby.

I'll take the Voight-Kampff test if you really want.

Sure it's just a fixed approach signal, but still it was neat to find this cool sentinel along the former Frisco in Columbus. Golden Triangle Railroad is running over the BNSF here for a few miles to interchange on the north side of town, and the approach indicator is for the diamond crossing with the KCS Tuscaloosa Subdivision near downtown.
