I'm really pleased with the way this turned out.

The newspaper took a while but I think it was worth it. Perhaps I should do a series with different newspapers?

This old man was carefully reading his magazine during a sleepy and calm Sunday afternoon. I found him so tender in his total concentration.

On Sunday afternoons the fishermen gather on the bridge that connects Eminocu and Karakoy, or the waterway that separates Old Istanbul from the New Istanbul on the European side.

The bridge is there of course to allow the many boats to pass underneath, but that doesn't stop the fishermen casting their lines directly in the paths of the boats - so there must have been centuries of the same arguments day in day out!

Spent this whole morning cuddling with Jewel. I love lazy Sundays!

At this month's Easter edition of The Sunday Show, Coco La Pearl kicks things off with a set of go-go dancing and fire-eating.

Later on she performs a picnic number featuring a dreary book, a cramped dress, and, inevitably somehow, a banana.

When it's bigger, you can see her eyes better.

A wonderful Sunday for you all !!

The first of four small panel studies that I did yesterday. Once I got rolling, I had to keep going. I'm going to continue pursuing this path, I believe there's still a lot to uncover.

Sunday Lunch chinese style. This was a get together to celebrate K's cousin having another baby. You usually have a meal to celebrate once baby a month old due to the lunar calendar it's classed as their first birthday....yep it's confusing! lol

There's another family meal this sunday but I'm off to my friend's 30th. She's having a 50's tea dance - ladies only!

I used to hate Sundays when I was younger, mainly because it meant that I had to go to school the next day. It's funny how things change, now I love Sundays. During the Winter months it means I can have a "duvet day" and watch some classic movies, and then during the Spring and Summer I leave all my chores to one side and make it a "me" day. I got up early on Sunday morning and went to Regents Park, it was such a crisp morning with lovely blue skies and the sun was out. The Park was relatively quiet so it was nice and peaceful.

Now I realise what Sundays were made for :-)

...........behind the mount....................sorry:-)

........for the sunday scooping group...........

..........................just kidding.........

Super Sundays - Radio Kootwijk

Sunday is the day I either get to say hello to my son, or have to say goodbye as he leaves for his dad's house for the week. A Sunday ritual with mixed emotions.

35th annual Rosary Sunday draws thousands devoted to Mary, holy rosary

Story by Gina Keating

The Catholic Sun

In a kaleidoscope of colors, sound and movement, more than 6,000 faithful in the Phoenix Diocese gathered to honor Mary in the most anticipated Catholic event of the year, Rosary Sunday.

Under her title Mary, Help of Christians, the 35th annual celebration continued its traditional offerings of confession, adoration, benediction and recitation of the rosary.

The downtown Phoenix Convention Center opened its doors Oct. 10 to ethnically diverse members of the Body of Christ whose public prayers in different tongues paid homage to Mary, especially for her protection of the unborn.

Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted was greeted with a standing ovation from an enthusiastic crowd that filled the seats, as others searched for open spots.

“Today, we see how Mary is the mother of all of us,” Bishop Olmsted said in his bilingual address.

Auxilary Bishop Eduardo Nevares, recently back from a trip to Rome, delivered an apostolic blessing from Pope Benedict, which was received with a round of applause.

Christy O’Gara said she attended the event for the second year with her six children so they could “see all those that love Jesus.”

“Now, more than ever, we desire to be together as witnesses to the world,” O’Gara said.
