This is what the Apple logo looked like at first.
I told Pete stories, surrounding this and he said to put it up:
Don't know where I got an Apple Security patch.
I used ot work for them,* but that doesn't explain it.
There are two Apples: though the original one- Apple Records ( the Beatles )- is not in the forefront, as it used to be.
But, years ago, when Apple Computer became prominent, the two Apples came into contact to determine if there was going to be any conflict. They decided that Apple Computer was not going to have anything to do with music, so they said, no problem. haha
The Apple logo got simpler and simpler. Now there is no color at all. ( this was before the gay flag came in. don't know if that figured in it. but i don't mean in a negative way, in fact, Apple's present CEO is openly gay. )
___
* - i worked for Apple indirectly, like most people do, through a firm called HyperPro: 95% of their business with Apple.
- my job was mostly to design logos- both static and animated. they were mostly for Apple's use, internally, and many of them were for TIE- The Information Exchange: Apple's contact with its external programmers.
- the company, HyperPro's name was created in reference to a dynamic program created by Bill Atkinson: HyperCard.
- my animated icons were created in HyperCard, with the help of an Apple programmer, who made the separate images come in at the right rate. ( i think that's what he did. I loved having a programmer to work with. )
- Bill Atkinson is an Apple Fellow- the creator of MacPaint, made for the original stand-up Macintosh, released in 1984. Photoshop and all the others, stand on the shoulders of MacPaint.
- and kudos to another hero of mine- Susan Kare- who created of the graphic interface. wow.

Ursela didn't want to be a vampire, she didn't want to be or do anything but read her beloved books. But then she learned the most marvelous magical thing...well the most magical things if you are an immortal wallflower...Vampires dont need to sleep...EVER. Ursela could spend her immortal afterlife roaming bookshops and late night cafes, reading book after book and nibbling on the shoppers and coffee drinkers. She never missed the sun for she never saw it to begin with.
