"I've known since I was born that my one purpose in life was to play music. I started playing the guitar when I was eight years old. The most memorable moment in my life was when my son Jonas was born. Also, my most favorite gig that I have ever played was when I played live with my son for the first time professionally. I have always wanted to go visit Prague. Willie Nelson's Farm Aid has been the one gig that I have always dreamed of playing." -Mike Langley
EVENT ON MADISON AVENUE
We have lithographs by Toulouse-Lautrec, Ronald Searle, and Auguste Renoir. There is a story about how we acquired them.
In November 1968 we returned from a trip to Europe and still had unused traveler's checks, a situation requiring immediate action. We decided on a stroll down Madison Avenae to find art work that might not exceed the value of the checks. (Hah!) We hadn't gone very far when I saw a drawing of a little girl in a shop window; it was love at first sight; I just had to have her. Mom agreed.
Then we noticed the name of the shop: Far Gallery. It was owned by Murray Roth and Herman Wechsler, friends of Paul Levenson, (married to Mom’s sister Anne), when he worked at Macy’s in New York, who had told us to look them up. We introduced ourselves, and the fun began: 1. The little "girl" was Claude Renoir, grandson of the famous artist; 2. The "drawing" was a lithograph by Claude's grandpa; 3. Our new friends brought out the Toulouse-Lautrecs; I almost exploded with excitement, travelers checks out of mind; 4. Mom saw the Searle lithograph (it is in her bedroom) and giggled with joy; 5. One of the owners then gave us a book, a veritable encyclopedia explaining the various ways in which prints are made. He autographed it; 6. We bought the Searle, the Renoir and two Toulouse-Lautrecs, arranged to have them framed and shipped with the book.
In the spring of 1969 the gallery tempted us with several lithographs; we opted for two more Toulouse-Lautrecs.
We have never tired of our selections; we think the frames and artwork are exquisite. They are a great joy; when Mom was more mobile, she would go through the living room during the day just to enjoy our gifts to ourselves. With a photographer’s eye, I marvel at the simplicity of lines and the unusual use of light by the artistes. The lithographs have not increased one whit in value since we bought them; no matter, we love them more and more as time passes.

This game has one of the greatest endings to a video game that I have ever played. The story was perfect. The way everything was, was realistic. It made you feel as though you were watching a movie. (in the cut scenes.) It has it's flaws, but you couldn't have asked for anything better. The ending was very sad, It reminded me of Act of Valor.
We take for granite what our army does for us every day. They protect us from threats around the world. They sacrifice their lives for us. When you play this game or even look up the ending of the game online, you will see what I mean. So the next time veterans day or Memorial day comes around, take a minute and pray for them and their families. I won't spoil the ending if your getting this for Christmas, but if you're curious, just look it up. I'm pretty sure you will be amazed. This is one of my favorite games, I don't think anything will top this. Although, I'm sure COD will sell more because of the brainless kids that stand in line. I'm getting Black Ops II, but it will never top this campaign. If any of you are wondering about the storm, My family and I are okay. Some trees fell and there was some flooding. I live on a hill so the flooding didn't affect me as much.
Ordinary people tell many tales about star guardians (represented by Rank and Eckton in my stories). Weirdly and mystically they live. Fearless in battles and whole-heartly cheerful in short periods between deadly dangerous missions. And their families reflect that too. From time to time, not pair, but triple, quadruple or even more guardians form marriage which is based on mutual respect, trust, acceptance of each other interests and, of course, love. Guardians regard this kinds of family very seriously, men call one another as brothers, women - as sisters. And, for a wonder, live long and happy, keep their oaths - as long as their destiny allows.
I would like to tell about one of that type marriage. It is alternate variant of story about Rank and Kaityr.
GABBY GABBY – In Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” Woody finds himself in Second Chance Antiques, home to an adorable, talking pull-string doll from the 1950s and her crew of voiceless ventriloquist dummies. Unfortunately for Gabby Gabby, a manufacturing defect in her pull-string voice box has left her sounding anything but adorable. Christina Hendricks lends her voice to Gabby Gabby. “Toy Story 4” opens in U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.

FLOGGING MOLLY - "The Story So Far"
You always had what you wanted
So leave it behind
And if the glass isn't broken
Then the future's not blind
All that you know
Means nothing to you
But it's the loss of control
shatters the truth
[Chorus:]
'Cause the story so far
Is already here
We've made it this far
Through the daggered edge spears
But life cuts to pieces
Till the wounds hold no secrets
Makes it all who you are
Love craves self destruction
It's a blizzard in hand
You lay your cards on the table
But you're not in command
So burn with the fire
You so eagerly lit
Watch the flames flicker higher
Say I don't care about me
[Chorus:]
'Cause the story so far
Is already here
We've made it this far
Through the daggered edge spears
But life cuts to pieces
Till the wounds hold no secrets
Makes it all who you are
Makes it all who you are
Makes it all who you are
Makes it all who you are
Though it's bitter the pill
That you swallow to feel
I don't care what I lost
I just thank god I'm alive
Makes it all who you are
Makes it all who you are
Makes it all who you are
Makes it all who you are
Makes it all who you are
That's the story so far

West along Strasse des 17. Juni, Tiergarten, Berlin, Germany - 19 March 2011.
450D + 70-300 : 1/1600s, f/5.6, ISO100, 280mm.
Originally called Charlottenburger Chausee, the east-west boulevard through the Tiergarten park was renamed "June 17th Street" to acknowledge the East Berlin uprising on June 17, 1953.
Under unusually clear skies on the final day of my birthday vacation in Germany, I spent the afternoon wandering through familiar sites in the city I've come to love, but I was trying to view the sights a little differently. I had obtained a point-and-shoot picture of the Siegesäule (Victory Column) in late-afternoon light in 2006, and I wanted to create a similar yet different looking photograph. Fortunately, circumstances were all converging nicely on this late-winter afternoon.
The statue in the foreground is called "Der Rufer" (The Caller or The Crier). Created by Gerhard Marcks in 1966, a cast of the bronze statue was purchased and erected here in place in the former West Berlin in May 1989. The statue was placed deliberately so that the "caller" faced East Berlin. At the sculpture's base is a quote by Italian poet Francesco Petrarch (1304-1374): "Ich gehe durch die Welt, und rufe 'Friede Friede Friede'"/ "I wander through the world, and cry 'Peace, Peace, Peace.'"

It's designed to break your heart. The game begins in the morning, when everything is new again, and it blossoms in the noon, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill dark comes, it stops, and leaves you to face the night alone.....

Al despertarme, lo primero que ví fue a aquella chica clavándome su jodidamente despierta mirada mientras perfeccionaba una estúpida sonrisa que lo decía todo. Soy imbécil, me reproché.
