got approached by one of the famous fakers if they could use one of my nieces as their profile pix - with that in mind, all my family pix are now for family and friends only!!
almost done with the living room... decided to go for the mushroom shade - and it looks ever so cool :) so, once its all done - i will shoot a few pix for friends and family :)
Midnight wants in on the action. He waits until Lightning pulls one off the shelf then moves it to help devour it.

This is the speeder Han steals in Solo: A Star Wars Story. While I liked the set it was way too big, the speeder is just over 12 feet long. Used in this Chase on Corellia build.
The modified car used for filming was just over 12 and a half feet long. One minifigure lying down is 5 studs long, this build is 13 studs long. That makes this build a little bit longer than two Minifigs lying down which puts it in the range of 11 to 13 feet long. Width and height have been equally scaled to the length.

A scene from the area around the pyramids and as always the camel grabs the spot light. The man is a tourist policeman found at the many sights through out Egypt. They are not to be confused with the police you have seen on television lately. They are there to monitor the interaction between the locals and the tourists which is mostly fun anyway. They have had a presence for quite sometime and not just since the demonstrations.

This afternoon at the Forster's Tern nest the chicks were again challenged. This time by an older Forster Tern juvi. The parent tern had just delivered this huge fish to the chick. The chick was having a hard time swallowing it so a nearby juvi swooped in and tried to steal the fish. The really brave and strong chick had no problem keeping it away from the juvi. Another great show!!!

A break from all the beach shots. We're now in the peak season of Camellias and if the no-show winter continues, they'll soon be followed by Azaleas. Have a great weekend and thanks for the visit.
