Hi to all my 'Flickr Follower Friends' and other 'Flickr folk' who visit my stream. I haven't posted anything in a year, like most countries the lockdowns here in England were quite tough, as they had to be so it was hard to keep being creative. I stayed at home most of the year other than food shopping. I grew vegetables, designed patterns and dressmade and became quite accomplished on my piano at long last. For my 51st birthday hubby bought me a white baby grand piano. I did do some photography over the year but not much. I concentrated on my family and supported my boys as they both had to work, I stayed at home as I have no Thyroid due to a tumour a few years back and I have to be very careful. I'm lucky though as I spent the whole year growing vegetables and having my boys at home which has been a privilege and a blessing. Hubby and I worked really hard on our garden and turned a five year project into a 'one year stay at home coronavirus project'. Sadly, through this coronavirus we have lost a few people we know not only to coronavirus itself but, through being in lockdown. Such a sad balancing act. Anyway, yesterday I picked my first crop of the year, radishes, rocket and purple sprouting broccoli. We have a vegetable cart to collect pumpkins, squashes and potatoes and carry plants about, Daisy loves to ride in it and yesterday was caught stealing the radishes off the back of the cart. I thought I'd get my camera out again now the Spring is finally here and my first few images are mainly of naughty Daisy. I will try and post regularly and catch up with all your images as and when I can. But I have quite the vegetable garden which takes some work and I am learning jazz piano, cooking dinners, walking Daisy and looking after my my precious boys, hoping your all well and safe and your losses have not been too heavy. Here's to a brighter future

Cadillac Mountain is the highest coastal point on the East Coast of the United States, at 1,532 feet (~500m). Thousands ascend by car to the mountain's summit to see what they believe is the United States first sunrise and to see the rest of the island.
Shadow is ever besieged, for that is its nature. Whilst darkness devours, and light steals. And so one sees shadow ever retreat to hidden places, only to return in the wake of the war between dark and light.

Flickr keeps stealing my description and tags. 4 times now!
Let's try this again. :P
I've been caught in an obsessive, *ahem*, I mean, creative whirlwind designing new dresses to add to the Hopeless Romantic series and putting the finishing touches on this little one, along with a few other projects I am dying to share with all of you! ^__^
I always wish I could be one of those incredible artists (and many friends here) who are able to present a constant steady flow of lovely things to share, while taking regular pictures, keeping in touch with everyone and still living the rest of their lives with family, friends, pets, exercise, errands, chores, business, etc. I am genuinely in awe of all of you! I really have tried, but I don't think I will ever be that person. I seem to go through phases and need large chunks of time to accomplish each part of this balance rather separately and become very quiet at times as well.
Maybe it's just different for everybody and that's ok, too.
I guess I just want you all to know, that even though I don't update or post comments regularly, I do care about you all and think of you quite often. <3
ps- also, I don't recommend spilling an entire glass of water on your open laptop... while it's on... or off either I guess. That doesn't do much to help with keeping in touch, either.
Kisses & Squish!

Been trying to get this chap raiding the bird table for weeks now. Finally managed to get a few grainy shots of him. It was quite early and overcast so needed high ISO.
I think I have figured out the myth of the missing sock in my house. You know how you have 1 million mismatched socks in your House and you never find the other pair. Well I know now where they have all gone!! lol...
And if you don't notice long enough they start playing tug a war with it....
If the birds can steal from Chip's picnic table and swing then their feeding platform is fair game.
Thanking all those in advance who may stop by and perhaps make a comment or, fave this image as it is most appreciated

"There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more,
From these our interviews, in which I steal
From all I may be, or have been before,
To mingle with the Universe, and feel
What I can ne'er express, yet cannot all conceal."
Lord Byron

Hello and welcome to a day where I steal other people's ideas and make them slightly different!
HaphazardPanda (flickr/Instagram/white hood post) posted a great rendition of Ghost from the MCU, and I thought it would look great with the new Spider-Gwen hood (and a few other changes). I definitely wish I had those Sensei Wu CMF printed arms right now though. Anyway, go check out their other stuff!
ethanhkonno_3047f9 (Instagram) posted a great version of Peacemaker with a lovely head/helmet combo. I switched it up a little but it's pretty solid on its own. Anyway, go check out their other stuff!
fjj_customs (Instagram) made a great figure for AotC C-3PO. I had the idea to add the Iron Man Mark 1 leg and made some other color adjustments, but obviously it was a great fig in the first place, especially the hip idea. Anyway, go check out their other stuff!
As I was walking around the Rodeo Arena in north Georgia. I saw that a photographer with an iPhone (probably a relative of one of the children" had managed to get this group of kids to pose for a photograph. Loved the smiles and actions of the children, so I stood to the side and 'stole' this group shot.
someone else's talent, borrowed for my stream. i am forever amazed by the skill of street artists.
i have no idea what this is supposed to be. and that makes me like it more.
"These two cute little guys were stealing
hearts, left & right, at the end of the parade
the other day. Aren't they adorable?"

can't tell. I just wonder is he's not asking
his little blond friend for some more of
those colorful Mardi Gras beads for his
neck!" tee hee

Hope you all have a most wonderful
week ahead!

Large carpenter bees are known for chewing a hole at the base of a bloom, then sucking up the pool of nectar there without ever touching the pollen inside the blossom. Which defeats the purpose of the flower having pollen in the first place. No pollination takes place.

FRONTPAGE EXPLORED
This one made it to the front page of flickr explore on 25th April, 2009
This picture made me laugh and think same time. Me and French photographer Erwan stopped in a tea garden for usual lookouts(for subjects ofcourse) and this old man came out from the house and stood like that. In a flash I took this shot while Erwan took mine. But Frenchman apologizes for being behind the subject, but I think his presence made a big difference in this composition.
